The forest was quiet, calm and serene. It was the kind of place a person
could go to and relax as the hours flew by like seconds. Birds chirped, a slight
breeze shook the leaves of the trees, and the sun shone brightly overhead.
Walking into this beautiful area was Autumn, a young girl of about 19. Training
to be a great artist, she wore a small beret that matched the ponytail she kept
her orange hair in beautifully.
"The perfect landscape." she thought as she looked over a small clearing in the
forest. She quickly found a nearby rock to sit upon as she set up an easel and
clean canvas. Reaching into the bag slung around her shoulder she retrieved a
small palette and several paintbrushes.
She held her thumb up to her eye and looked over the landscape before her again.
Autumn wasn't exactly sure why so many artists would hold a thumb to one of
their eyes before painting what was before them, but she was willing to give
anything a professional did a try.
A breeze stirred the leaves in the trees, and Autumn smiled as it helped cool
her. Picking out a paintbrush, she took a mental snapshot of her landscape and
turned her attention to the canvas for a few seconds.
It was during this period of a few seconds that a heavy rush of wind blew over
her and the entire clearing. Confused, she returned her attention to the
landscape she was about to paint, and immediately noticed it was replaced by
something else.
Where there was once a clearing, there now lay nothing more than an enormous
bare foot. Shocked at the turn of events, Autumn followed the foot up the
attached leg. It was definitely feminine, she realized. Further examination
revealed that she wore a white jacket with the symbol for Venus on it, and had
long black hair flowing down her neck.
Autumn took a step back. She didn't know who this woman was, but anything that
big is definitely dangerous, and she didn't want to end up on the wrong side of
one of those mountainous feet.
Turning and breaking out into a full dash, Autumn looked around the forest for a
hiding place so she'd be less noticeable. However, another huge, odrous rush of
wind drew her attention back to the foot in the clearing.
Or at least where it had been.
Looking back, the clearing was once again empty, though considerably flatter
than it had been when she arrived.. Knowing something that big didn't just
vanish, Autumn looked up and saw the wrinkled, bare sole of the mysterious girl
lower upon her with frightening speed. All the color rushed from Autumn's face
and, with not even enough time to let out of a proper scream, she was crushed
instantly into the grass, staining it red with her remains.

Asagi looked around, angry over her situation. She had been promised she would
be the main character of a new game, but things kept going wrong, and she kept
being transported to other worlds against her will.
Her attempt to steal the main character spot by destroying the planet in one
game failed, much to her surprise, and her last attempt was thwarted by the fact
that she was about half the height of everyone in the world. To make matters
worst, she was relaxing by a stream in the last world she was in before being
teleported to this place, and unintentionally left her shoes behind.
And now this, here she stood in the middle of a grassy field with no sign of
civilization. Who knows how far she'd have to walk to get somewhere now? The
anger within Asagi rose to the surface and she stomped her foot in frustration,
feeling the slightest crunch as she did so.
Asagi froze as she felt the crunch beneath her. If there was one thing she
hated, it was definitely crunchy insects, and the thought of having crushed one
beneath a bare sole terrified her.
Stepping back quickly suddenly, she lifted her foot to examine the sole and only
saw a small red stain. She had not yet encountered a red blooded insect, so she
sighed in relief and figured maybe it was a berry combined with some twigs she
stepped on. It was at least safe to assume this, given the other outcome was too
horrible to think about.
Relieved, Asagi decided she might as well begin her quest to try and find out
who the main character this game was, so she could take their title and finally
have a game all to herself about her!
"Flavor Hunter Asagi, away!~" she shouted with glee and ran in a direction she
hoped would quickly lead to civilization.
Though there hadn't been any signs of civilization earlier, she came across her
first town very quickly. The stone and wood constructs of the town suggested a
medieval setting for her newest find, and Asagi beamed as she realized she'd
have a rather large advantage technologically against these townspeople.
Running her fingers over the smooth metal of her guns, she smiled as her luck
finally seemed to be turning around. Every other she had visited was able to
fight her back with similar weapons and power, but these people would give her
the main character role after a few squeezes of the trigger.
The most obvious advantage she had over them of course, was her size. Though she
had learned to never assume things are going well normally, she had never come
across a world where the towns could be flattened to bedrock with only a few
quick stomps of a foot. The only reason she noticed the minuscule civilians in
the first place was the fireworks they seemed to be igniting. She could have
stepped on them and ended several lives without even noticing! The thought sent
a great sensation of power through Asagi, as she began to put together
everything this new world involved.
"This... is going to be so EASY!" Asagi told herself with a great sense of joy
and realization. "I just need to find this worlds main character and destroy
them so I can take over! With technology AND size on my side, I CAN'T lose. I
simply can't!" she squealed with bliss.
Bending at the waist, Asagi addressed the entire village at her feet at once.
"Excuuuse me, short people!~" she giggled. "I can't help but notice how small
you are, so I think I'll be taking over this games spot as main character! Could
you please point me in the direction of this games main character so I can leave
now?" she asked, though not without a hint of smugness in her voice.
Asagi waited for a response from the little ones below, and though they didn't
seem to be doing anything to attempt to address her, they were definitely doing
something. Growing impatient, she prepared to issue a threat but some more
fireworks stopped her. The fireworks flew what must have been a great height to
them, but to her they exploded at just above knee level.
"N.... O." Asagi read as they exploded into the shapes of letters. "No? No?! Oh,
I see how it is, well I guess I'll just wipe this village off the world map
then!" she laughed devilishly down to the people and slid her left foot forward
a bit, using only a fraction of her now seemingly infinite strength.
A few homes directly in her big toes path were knocked down as it's impressive
mass collided with them, then ground into little more than dust as the rest of
the foot rolled over the homes. Several people standing near the homes took this
as a sign and began fleeing from the colossal feet that seemed to be intent on
ending their lives.
"Look at all of you and how pathetic you are! I bet you're just an early town
the main character would visit, good for nothing but basic armor!" Asagi laughed
as she watched the barely visible puff of sawdust from the houses she flattened
dissipate. "I'd think it's time you all to began running! Flavor Hunter Asagi is
here and you've upset her!" she smiled as she lifted an entire bare foot over
the village.
Most of the village was cast in a deep shadow as Asagi brought her foot down
slowly, wanting those worthless peasants regret having ever denied her anything.
She stopped her foot as it hovered just above the roofs of about ten of the
homes. Flexing her sole, Asagi watched the mites run out from underneath her
foot and felt some of the roofs buckle beneath just the skin of her sole
shifting about.
"I just love how much more powerful I am in this world!" Asagi laughed and
slowly brought her foot completely down. The roofs and few people who hadn't
made it out from beneath her indented her sole for only a fraction of a second
before even their combined strength was overwhelmed by only her weight. Enjoying
the feeling, of incredible power, she lifted her foot again, ready to repeat the
act when she realized that most of the the village was already entombed in a
footprint.
"Your village is much too tiny." Asagi sighed, disappointed at having her fun
stolen from her. "I guess I'll just take the rest of you out and move on to find
that elusive main character!~" she laughed and looked over the last 4 remaining
buildings in the village. They were all lined up in a row with some space in
between, and Asagi briefly contemplated how to crush them before her face lit up
and she smiled brightly.
Moving her right foot back, she spread her toes as far apart as she could, and
positioned the remaining homes into the spaces between each of her toes,
crushing a few stray people beneath her sole as she did so. Though it was
difficult to hold this position, Asagi greatly enjoyed the mental image of what
the individuals still within those homes must be seeing. Her toes would tower
over their homes on all sides, and were waiting to come together and squash them
all flat. The buildings were probably already damaged from her earlier step and
the helplessness of those between her toes brought Asagi great joy.
"Gooodbye~!" She announced and very quickly slammed her toes together, creating
a small fountain of blood and wood that shot up between each of her toes.
With a haughty laugh, Asagi wiggled her toes, enjoying the feelings between them
and started to walk off in a random direction. If this game was decent, there
would definitely be more civilization somewhere, she'd just have to find it.
And if they choose not to cooperate either, I'll be sure they meet a similar
end!" Asagi laughed. "After all, my left foot is still rather dry!." She said
aloud, though no one was around to hear it.
~~~
Asagi quickly began to regret her actions however, as she hadn't noticed any
other signs of civilization in her quest to find and take over the main
character role in this game.
"Ugh, this is getting to be so BORING! Why couldn't that town have been on the
outskirts of a huge castle or something? This game is clearly going nowhere
without me, and needs to be made, well, better!" she asked herself, annoyed at
how sparsely populated the world map seemed to be.
No sooner had she said these words however that she came across another small
town.
Asagi smiled realizing that this town was actually extremely large in comparison
to the only other one she'd seen so far, possibly even a bustling city. But to
her, it was still, well, lacking. Pretty much anything would be in this world,
and she wouldn't have it any other way. Repeating her earlier actions, Asagi
bent over and addressed the specks below her directly.
"Hellooo~ little people! I'm your soon-to-be-new-main-character, Asagi! I just
need a bit of info, about the main character of this world! First things first,
is the main character in this town anywhere, if you are, would you please step
forward and make yourself known! You all look, well, the same from up here~!"
Asagi finished with a small giggle.
Watching intently, Asagi saw the people move about, but none seemed to be
stepping forward to grab her attention, so she continued her speech.
"Well, if the main character isn't here, I'd like some information on where he
or she is please! And no mouthing off to me either!" Asagi added sternly as she
lifted her still blood stained right foot over the city.
"The last town that mouthed off to me was trod upon without discrimination! You
don't want to follow in their footsteps, now do you~?" she added happily to her
threat, making sure to add extra emphasis to the word footsteps.
There was still no response from the city below. Though the rational part of her
brain knew they would have a hard time communicating with someone of her
magnitude, the impatient part figured that if they wanted to live, they would
have figured out a way to convey a message.
Setting her right foot down outside the city, Asagi presented to them her still
clean left foot. Savoring the coming feeling, she closed her eyes and prepared
to flatten another large section of civilization when she heard a noise.
Though she wanted to ignore it and continue with the impending squash, Asagi
chose to open her eyes and look for the source of it before resuming her attack.
Searching the ground intently, Asagi was glad to not see anything when she heard
same sound, this time accompanied by a barely present voice.
"Wait! Please! I'm the one they call Hero in this world!" Asagi heard in one of
her ears, though she did have to strain a little to correctly make out the
words.
"Really then, Mr. Hero~. You reveal yourself at last!" Asagi laughed to herself
as she stood to her full, intimidating height. Looking down, she saw a small boy
on top of what appeared to be a dragon floating where her head was, and now
making it's way up to her ear again.
"Yes I do. Now what is it you want?" Asagi heard in her ear again.
"It's simple, really. I've come to take over this game for my own and become the
main character!" She beamed. "But as long as you exist, this simply isn't
possible! Even if you were to hand over the title, the game would still
recognize you as the main character, so I'm going to need to dispose of you!"
Asagi said happily.
"That makes a lot of sense." The hero told her. "But as this games hero, I can't
just give up and let you do that!" He told her valiantly.
"Oh I'm afraid I'll do just that!"Asagi laughed. "But, first things first, I'm
going to need some details on this game before I rid the world of you~. Now,
what level are you Mr. Hero?"
"I'm afraid even with your size you may be a bit outmatched! I've reached the
level cap in this game, and am now at level 100!" The hero told her proudly.
Asagi stifled a giggle, but proceeded with her next question.
"Now, what is the damage and stat cap in this world?" She asked, hoping his
answer would be as ridiculous as the earlier one.
"It's the standard for the series, 9999 damage a hit, and 999 in every stat,
Though I don't hit it every time, I'm sure I can do enough to take on anything!"
The Hero said with great pride over his strength.
This, naturally, sent Asagi over the edge. She burst out laughing and clutched
her stomach to prevent herself from falling over. If there was one thing she had
learned from traveling through all these different games, it was that her power
carried over, and these numbers were, well, pathetic in relation.
"Well little Hero," Asagi said, feeling as though his miserable strength was not
even enough to refer to him as a Mr. anymore. "Where I'm from, those numbers
mean, well, nothing!~ Me, well, I've fought a lot of battles and I've reached
the peak of the world I came from.!" she said, covering her mouth to stop
herself from laughing.
There was no answer from the Hero, he was either in shock, or waiting politely
for her to continue. Asagi couldn't tell either way, but figured the time to
brag about her strength had come.
"Standing high in the blue corner is Miss Asagi!~" She almost shouted in
contentment. "Coming in at level 9,999, with a main attack stat of over
20,000,000 and just over 2,000,000 hit points is the challenger to the hero! Let
me tell you something hero, I was almost worried you'd be something of a
contest, but this game's hero is a total joke! I mean I'm pretty strong, the
only fight I've ever lost was against some cheating BITCH who had a level of
35,000, but if you're stuck at 100 then I'm afraid it's all over~!" She said
happily.
"Ok, maybe you do have the advantage in terms of numbers" Hero said, not
intimidated over her announcement of her power. "But I still have the title of
main character, and the rest of my party will help get rid of you!" Hero said as
he looked downwards and seemed to yell an order from the great height.
"Listening intently, as it was hard to make the Hero's words out when he wasn't
directly speaking into her ear, Asagi almost burst out laughing again as she did
indeed hear the hero call out for the other members of his party.
"Or rather, member" She thought joyfully, since he had only yelled one name.
"Cecilia. I'll need to remember that name." Asagi told herself, making a mental
note.
Stepping to the side, Asagi caught Hero off guard and he still flew in the space
her ear once occupied. A smiled crossed Asagi's lips as she visualized the best
way to dispose of the main character. Given the height he was still at, she
figured it was time to put her immensity to use again as she opened her mouth
wide.
The thought of how she was about to dispose of the main character caused Asagi's
mouth to water, which was plainly evident as strings of saliva fell from the
roof of her mouth onto her wet tongue. Anticipating the little man and his
dragon in her mouth, she quickly stepped back to where they still flew and moved
her head until they were deep in her mouth.
She couldn't even imagine what it must look like to Hero, though she sure tried.
She imagined a deep cavern, dripping at the prospect of consuming something.
There would be immense teeth surrounding the mouth, completely indestructible to
someone of his size and strength, and at the far end of the mouth was a
bottomless pit leading straight to hell. Her throat was something to be feared
and she couldn't have been more happy about it.
Smiling as well as she could open mouthed, Asagi imagined that this Hero, who
hadn't really done anything wrong, would soon suffer an unbelievable end within
her. The amount of pain he would endure inside her stomach was completely
unfair. Still though, the innocent that made the best sacrifices, and she would
see to it that the role of main character was unquestionably hers.
Asagi smiled as she recalled some advice she had been given once. "If you're
gonna build an ivory tower, you're gonna have to kill a few elephants." She was
intent on building her ivory tower, and Hero was just one of the elephants she
would have to kill to get it done.
Closing her mouth slowly over her victim, Asagi's lips sealed off what little
light had still made it into her mouth and smiled as she felt a slight tickle
while doing so. Apparently Hero had made an attempt to fly out of the closing
mouth and had almost made it, being caught between her lips as they closed.
Keeping her lips tight against Hero, she briefly considered smothering him to
death between her lips, but knew from experience that running out of air
doesn't always equate to a guaranteed death. No, she would need to ensure his
demise.
Opening her mouth a little bit again, she felt Hero free himself, and took a
step forward to recapture him, this time ensuring he was completely engulfed by
her mouth.
Her attention was so focused on Hero in fact, that she didn't even notice the
small step she had taken forward landed directly into the city. Wooden and stone
buildings literally exploded against her flesh when she took a fast, careless
step. Anything that found it's way beneath her foot was reduced to nothing more
than a thin organic film, and as her foot accepted all her weight, her toes
splayed outwards to remove from existence anything caught between them. A
perfectly cold and calculated step, bringing many lives to an abrupt end.
All unnoticed as Asagi pressed her tongue into Hero, forcing him to the roof of
her slick mouth, and continued to maneuver him around her mouth, before she
suddenly realized her mouth now contained two things.
Though she immediately assumed the worst, Asagi quickly realized it only meant
that Hero had been separated from the dragon he rode on. Carefully feeling about
with her tongue, she felt something small and thrust it into her cheek, next to
the teeth for safe keeping. A moment later she felt another small thing, but it
felt more rough. Figuring this to be the dragon, Asagi briefly pondered what the
dragon's fate should be, and figured she may as well go about her original plan
of devouring them both, and moved the small beast onto her teeth, laying it
there. A quick flick of her tongue to the opposite side of her mouth ensured
Hero was still safely in her cheek, so she bit down sharply.
The insignificant dragon popped, and Asagi grinned at the feeling. Figuring that
enough was enough, she turned her attention back to Hero, and scooped him out
from his relatively safe spot with her tongue. Turning her entire head upwards,
she created an incline that Hero slowly began to slide down. Just as he's about
to slip into the entrance to her throat, Asagi feels the very faint
pitter-patter of movement on her tongue and instinctively swallows, clearing her
mouth of all the excess saliva, and it's little occupant.
A sly grin crossed Asagi's face as Hero slipped into her throat providing a
pleasant tingling sensation the entire way down. She eventually lost track of
him once he slipped into her stomach, but he no longer mattered at that point.
The deed had been done, the games main character had been successfully defeated!
As much as Asagi would have liked to celebrate this fact by jumping for joy and
flashing a peace sign, she knew her job wasn't done yet. From her experience
thus far, she knew that sometimes even a main character being disposed of
wouldn't pass the title to her, and sometimes a main character dying was even
integral to the plot to pass the title onto a new character.
But Asagi wouldn't allow that to happen once she was the main character. Nope,
she'd then find whatever evil was threatening this world and ensure that she
defeated it, alone if she had to. Then her game could be finished and it'd
arrive in store shelves on time!
"It's going to be so... so awesome!" Asagi beamed, her face pleased at the
thought of having her own game out for the world to see. "I'll have to make sure
to get a copy for myself while I'm at it!" She whispered happily.
"But first I'll have to think of a name...." Asagi thought as she placed a
finger to her chin and looked into the distance for a second before stopping.
"No... first I need to ensure the Hero dying isn't part of this games plot! If I
take out his companion as well, the game will be forced to name me the main
character!~" she told herself and looked to the city at her feet again.
It was mostly at her feet at least. Asagi finally noticed the step she took
earlier landed directly into the city and it sent a tingle down her spine. She
had inadvertently ended lives with only a simple shuffling of her feet. Sure
they might have been more innocent civilians and possibly even Hero's
accomplice, but what kind of good story doesn't have massive destruction of
people uninvolved in the story.
"Hell, if anything I'm spicing the story up by adding potential drama to remind
the player what they're fighting for! And since I'm the one who caused the
damage in the first place, it'll be an amazing story of redemption! Oh my~! This
game is going to win sooo many awards!" Asagi justified to herself.
Too excited to hold off any longer, Asagi looked to her feet again and addressed
the remaining city folk scattered near her feet.
"Now that your so called "Hero" has been introduced to my tummy~" Asagi boasted,
patting her stomach as she did so. "I'll be needing the Hero's accomplice, I
have an offer to make to someone who goes by the name Cecilia around here. I
promise to make it worth your while!" she announced sweetly, though her
intentions were malevolent.
Asagi bent over again and watched most of the ants beneath her scurry away in
fear. Even when she had no intent of doing harm she managed to scare people. It
should have been expected by now, but even now, the little signs of power she
held over the populace below made her smile a great predatory grin.
Though she would have loved to stamp the rest of the crowd beneath her, she
resisted and watched the crowd continue to flee until there was a lone dot
standing there, seemingly moving it's arm back and forth.
Not sure what to make of it, Asagi bent over further and focused her eyes on the
dot. She couldn't tell much about it's appearance except that it's hair was
golden and it looked like it was...
"Firing arrows? At me? Well that's awfully rude isn't it, Cecilia!" Asagi
announced, though she was making this assumption off the fact that she was the
only one who not only didn't run away, but actively fought back.
Her wild guess paid off as the dot seemed to stop firing and looked up at Asagi,
noting that she was being addressed specifically.
"Ah, so I take it you're Hero's companion! Maybe a love interest, or maybe
nothing more than a token female. Though I guess it doesn't matter much now that
he's gone." Asagi stopped to rub her tummy again. "But for now I need to speak
with you directly."
"I have nothing to say to you!" a tiny voice drifted to Asagi's ears stated.
"Oh my! I can hear you from down there! How is that?" she asked, curious to the
phenomena.
"I am an elf, I can project my voice using magic." Cecilia answered.
"An elven archer? Oh God, can you get any MORE stereotypical game? I'll bet Hero
was on his way to meet with a burly sidekick or a spunky princess too. I'm
DEFINITELY doing this game a favor by taking over!~" Asagi laughed.
"But first, Cecilia was it? I have a proposition for you. Yes yes I did dispose
of Hero and I'm sure we're all very upset by that, but if you want to avoid a
similar fate, I'd be willing to spare youu~" Asagi continued in a sing-song
voice.
Cecilia looked upwards at the towering girl and considered her options. Try to
fight back and inevitably lose, if the stats she gave out earlier were correct,
or save her own life by doing whatever this devil-woman had in mind.
"Ok, I'll listen, since I am clearly no match for you." Cecilia said mournfully
looking at the sizable stack of arrows piled near the giantesses big toe. None
had managed to pierce the skin, and several even broke on impact.
"Oh good!" Asagi replied giddily. "Now, it's going to be really easy, especially
for someone of your stature. I want a sign of respect to show that you agree
that I am the superior one here, and then I'll allow you to follow me, maybe as
a comic foil or something to that effect. Anythigns better than being dead
right?" Asagi proclaimed.
"Now, I want you to get on your knees and praise me. Call me, "Asagi the Great!
Queen of all games everywhere!" she declared, the joy rather evident in her
voice.
Grumbling to herself, Cecilia dropped down to one knee and projected her voice
in the best fake enthusiasm she could muster.
"I give you praise great Asagi, queen of games." Cecilia repeated
half-heartedly.
Though it was clear she wasn't sincere, Asagi was so fond of having her ego
stroked for the first time she could ever remember that she didn't mind.
"Now show me how much you care physically! I want you to approach my feet and
shower them with praise. A thousand kisses onto each toe will suffice!" Asagi
said more happily than she had ever said anything and wiggled and flexed her
toes looking forward to the praise that would soon be spread to them.
Cecilia muttered to herself and approached the enormous foot slowly.
Upon arriving at the big toe, Asagi's true scale finally began to set in to
Cecilia. Even the toes towered above her like a great castle, and that was the
lowest and likely smallest part of her to be compared to. Picking up the
salvageable arrows that rest next to the big toe, she placed them back into her
quiver and figured she may as well do what this Asagi said, for the sake of her
own life.
Pressing her hands into the statuesque toe, Cecilia was extremely surprised to
find her hands sink in slightly. Though she was loathe to admit it, this Asagi
girl, even at her immense size and after all the carnage she had caused, took
care of herself. Though there was a slight odor in the air now that she was
in-between her toes, she hadn't been able to detect any differences in the air
from the slight distance she had stood when firing her arrows.
Cecilia shook her head. She shouldn't be praising Asagi like this! She needs to
just hurry up and get this over with.
Turning her head slightly, Cecilia pressed her lips into Asagi's big toe with
just the faintest hint of a kiss. The thought of what she was doing repulsed
her, and she counted it off in her head.
"Ok... 1 down, 999 more kisses and my life is sp-" Cecilia began.
Above, Asagi had felt the kiss and was so overcome with happiness over getting
recognized for her achievements that she curled her toes unwittingly, further
compacting the earth beneath her, and reducing her servant to little more than a
bright red stain between her big toe and the next.
Disheartened at her loss, Asagi briefly considered flattening the city beneath
her bare soles again, but figured she now had the title of main character and
refrained from doing so, as it might ruin the game.
Instantly lighting up, Asagi now realized she was the main character! Checking
her stats confirmed it, her title was no longer, "Main Character?" but was now,
"Main Character"!
"I've done it! Yes! Now first things first, what should I call this game that I
am the main character of? Maybe Asagi Fantasy! Or Asagi Quest? Ooh, I know! The
Legend of Asagi!" she ran through her mind quickly and again lost track of her
current situation, so overcome with joy was she.
Though she hadn't really noticed, while trying to come up with names for her
game, Asagi had decided to take a seat, right on top of the city she had only
seconds earlier decided to spare from a bloody fate by her soles.
The masses below watched in abject horror as Asagi's titanic assets made their
way down and buildings and people alike were squeezed to the ground. Neither the
ground nor Asagi's rear end seemed to be intent on giving up and those caught
between were flattened indiscriminately. Whether they were man, woman, child, or
pet.
As earlier, this was all unnoticed by Asagi, who rocked back and forth slightly
in place in happiness, inadvertently sending a message of a confirmed death to
all caught beneath her. Those who had just avoided being sat upon ran in several
opposing directions, all hoping to get away from Asagi's murderous body.
"Or maybe Asagi May Cry! Ooh, Viewtiful Asagi sounds good too! But I still
rather like the ring of Dead or Asagi!" She continued, oblivious to the world
around her as she laid down onto her back and spread her arms and legs apart and
began making a snow angel.
The entire scenario was almost cute. A girl more happy than she had ever been
was lying on her back. Her arms and legs spread, moving back and forth and up
and down. A look of joy so deeply etched into her face that you wouldn't want to
interrupt her for fear of breaking her heart.
Of course, given Asagi's new size, making a snow angel in a city proved
disastrous. Buildings and people were steamrolled by her moving limbs, and if
anything had managed to survive the initial attack, her limbs would return less
than a second later to crush it further out of existence.
Where once there was a proud metropolis, there now lay nothing more than dust
and an enormous girl, still trying to come up with a name.
"Asagi-vania! Halo: Asagi Evolved! Asagi Calibur! Asagi of War!" she continued,
until the sun began to set.
As the sky grew a mix of red and orange from the setting sun, Asagi lay back,
finally having decided on a name for her game, and was starting to wonder where
her story would begin.
"Asagi Force! It will be the greatest game in this or any other world, and when
it comes out I'll keep a copy for myself to never forget this great occasion!"
she said overjoyed.
Smiling while looking up at the sky, Asagi was surprised when another figure
flew in front of her face.
"Hmm? Someone small flying?" Asagi questioned to herself before asking the
person abruptly. "Who are you?"
"Me? Oh, I'm the Goddess of Time~, and I'm guessing you're the one who made this
mess?" the flying girl said.
"Goddess of Time? Eh? And yes, I did make the mess, but now begins my story of
redemption! I'll become a sympathetic anti-hero! The story will melt even those
with a heart of stone." Asagi responded with a grin.
"Ah, well it's not my business to interfere with the business of you silly
mortals, but I'm afraid I have some bad news for you~" The Goddess happily said.
"Oh? What is it?" Asagi asked suspiciously.
"Well you see, that Hero ate earlier was chosen by me to save this world. Now,
being chosen doesn't mean much, I could just as easily choose you to continue
his legacy, but as a sign of being chosen I gave him a statuette of myself~.
It's really quite gorgeous, and it allows Hero the ability to turn back time 30
seconds after something bad happens!" The Goddess of Time explained to the
colossal girl.
"Really? Well I'm guessing you're just going to turn time back 30 seconds now or
something? Go ahead, with your business then, I don't really care." Asagi said,
relieved it was nothing important.
"Well that is another thing I'm here to explain~." The Goddess continued. "Time
in this game flows differently than the time you're used to. Why, according to
how time flows in this game, you've been here for all of about.... 24 seconds.
Hero's demise has activated the statue, so I'll be turning back time by 30
seconds now, I just figured you should know that it'll be 6 seconds before you
arrived in this world that you'll be sent back~" She replied happily.
All the color flushed from Asagi's face and she felt her lips turn blue. All the
work she had done to ensure the destruction of the main character and his party
members were about to be negated. Countless lives would be restored as the towns
were returned to normal.
But the worst part of it was that Asagi would be losing her game. Asagi was used
to constant emotional shifts given how often she traveled about, and going from
the happiest she could ever remember being to an extreme case of depression
would be the most recent of them.
Asagi's face was completely blank. She had lost her game through her own
actions.
"No... it was taken from me!" She repeated to herself.
"Well I'll be going now, hope you have a nice flight~" The Goddess of Time told
Asagi as the flow of time reversed.
Less than a second later, Asagi found herself relaxing by a creek with her shoes
off. Though she wanted to stay there and cry, she knew what was coming in about
6 seconds, so she ran and grabbed her shoes just as she felt herself be sent
into a new game.
~~~
Asagi found herself in a crystalline world. She wanted to keep to herself and
mourn the theft of her game, but knew she had to continue pressing forward to
find the thief. Asagi slipped into her shoes again and stood to be greeted by a
group of teenagers. The leader appeared to be a boy with white hair and a red
coat hanging from his neck.
"Who's this? I've never seen her around." The boy said.
"I'm not sure, she doesn't seem like the culprit." Another boy in a white coat
said.
"Why would a stranger like her be wandering around in a place like this?" A cute
girl with horns asked.
Asagi was confused over this new group, and had only one thing on her mind.
"Wait a second, I think she wants to say something." the busty girl of the group
said.
"I... am Asagi. Where... is my game?" was all Asagi could manage.
"Game? Did you lose it?" The white haired boy asked.
"Maybe it was stolen from her too?" The other boy responded.
"Yes. It was stolen. My precious game..." Asagi choked out.
"This might help our investigation. What kind of game was it?" The white haired
boy asked curiously.
"My precious game.. where I'm the main character.." Asagi said as she tightened
her fist in anger at the group.
"What?" The white haired boy asked.
"The game where I'm the main character... YOOOOOU STOLE IT!" She shouted ready
to engage this newest threat in combat. She'd be the main character someday, and
this white haired boy seemed to know about how she could go about it in this
game.
Pulling her guns out from her coat, Asagi prepared to fight the group all at
once. Nothing was too risky if her game was on the line after all.
The group before her all grabbed their own weapons and Asagi ran forward, guns
blazing.
