Star of the Star Allies

NOTE from author: This story takes place after The Battle for Mewni, but before Sophomore Slump (when Marco is on Earth and Star is on Mewni). And yes, I know there are characters from the anime that were not in Kirby: Star Allies (like Tuff and Tiff), but I wanted to throw them in anyway.

In seemingly the farthest reaches of outer space lies the Jambandra space station, where a cloaked figure stands before a shiny fully-crystalized purple heart cackling with black lightning bolts.
"At last! Once I complete the ritual, the entire galaxy will fall under the dark rule of me, Lord Hyness, and the Dark Lord!" the cloaked figure said. Lord Hyness then said a bunch of gibberish that seemed to intensify the glow of the purple heart. But then Lord Hyness looked up at the heart and said two words.
"Uh oh…" Lord Hyness said as he covered himself (despite being cloaked) and watched the heart explode into many fragments. All of them scattered in various directions in space, although a few of them did stick together and glow brightly. What Lord Hyness didn't realize was these particular shards were trying to open a void, but he was only concerned with one thing. Seeing an empty pedestal where the heart once stood.
"JAMBLASTED!!!" Lord Hyness shouted as he stomped his feet on the ground multiple times.

Of course, the heart and Lord Hyness's temper exploding did not go unnoticed. The Three Mage Sisters (Francisca, Zan Partizanne, Flamberge) came flying into the room.
"Lord Hyness! What is wrong!?" Zan Partizanne shouted.
"Grrrrrrr! I miscalculated on the ritual, and now the Jamba Heart is in pieces!" Lord Hyness shouted.
"Oh no! That's terrible! You can't complete your grand plans without it!" Francisca said.
"We'll have to track down all the missing fragments. Get this flying tin can running and set the scanners to pick up the energy signature of the fragments!" Lord Hyness said.
"Yes, our lord!" the three sisters said together.

A few hours pass and the villains have already collected numerous fragments from almost every corner of the galaxy you could think of, but they were still a long ways from the Jamba Heart being restored. The space station was now approaching a planet that was shaped like a star. Of course, we knew this place as Planet Popstar.
"Lord Hyness! I'm detecting LOTS of fragments on that planet nearby!" Flamberge said.
"Those must be where the remaining fragments are. Set course!" Lord Hyness shouted. Zan Partizanne pressed some buttons on the console to get a view of the surface of Planet Popstar, seeing the numerous structures and wide variety of creatures running around.
"Such a primitive looking planet. We should have no trouble reclaiming the Jamba Heart fragments." Zan Partizanne said.
"Huh? Lord Hyness, what do you make of this?" Francisca said as she pointed to what looked like a rift forming in the sky over a grassy plain.
"Hmmm? It's probably nothing. Ignore it." Lord Hyness said.
"Are you sure? It could've been generated by some of the fragments rubbing together and…" Francisca said, only to get a slap in the face by her yellow-haired sister, Zan Partizanne.
"He said don't worry about it! We must not question the judgment of Lord Hyness!" Zan Partizanne said.
"Ow! Okay okay…" Francisca said. Flamberge couldn't help but try to hold a giggle as the station slowly made its way towards Popstar.

Meanwhile, in an entirely different dimension known as Mewni, the young teenage girl known as Star Butterfly was laying flat on her bed, busy staring at a picture of herself and Marco, a boy she befriended while she was on Earth. That is, until she heard a knock on her door.
"Come in!" Star said. She watched as the door opened and her mother, Moon, came walking inside.
"Am I interrupting, Star?" Moon asked.
"No, no. Just… chilling. As Marco would say anyway." Star said. Moon smiled as she walked over and sat on Star's bed next to her daughter.
"I know you really miss him, but you know it was important that we cut off access to Earth so…" Moon said.
"I know, I know, so Toffee doesn't invade it like he tried to take over Mewni. And so he doesn't hurt Marco again." Star said as she twiddled her fingers around her wand.
"You know I'll always be proud of you the way you handled yourself, and I know you miss him so much." Moon said. Star sighed.
"Hopefully there will be a way we can have a peaceful relationship. Not just between us, but with all the people of Earth and Mewni." Star said. Moon smiled and gave her daughter a quick hug.

Then one of the guards came running into the room.
"My queen! I beg your forgiveness for the interruption, but it's the king again." the guard said. Both Moon and Star gasped, with both quickly standing up from the bed.
"(sigh) Don't worry, I'll take care of it. Thank you, soldier." Moon said.
"What's wrong with Dad?" Star asked.
"Oh, nothing. He's been wanting to dance naked in the town square drinking nothing but Mewni's Finest Juice ever since he was brought back to life." Moon said.
"Heh heh heh… same ol' Dad after winning a war, right? Do you want me to come?" Star said.
"No, it's okay. You can stay here until dinner time. Lead the way, soldier!" Moon said as she and the guard left Star's royal bedroom, closing the door behind them.

Star started to go back towards her bed to think more about Marco, but suddenly she heard a crackling sound that she recognized.
"That sound…" Star said as she picked up her wand and looked upward at a rift suddenly opening up near her ceiling.
"Ooooooookay… I know I haven't been playing with the dimensional scissors in here. Mom and Dad would both kill me if I ever did that!" Star said as she watched the rift slowly open up wider and wider. It was finally big enough to suck everything inside, with Star having to hold on tight to her bed as she lost her footing.
"Whoawhoawhoa!!!" Star shouted. She tried shooting lasers at the rift, but nothing she threw at it seemed to effect it.
"Can't… hold… on… WAAAAAAAH!!!" Star screamed as she finally lost her grip on her bed. She clutched her wand tightly as she felt herself being pulled into the rift, which closed the second Star was through. The next thing Star knew, she felt herself falling through a field of stars for what seemed like forever as she wondered where she would end up…

Meanwhile, back at Planet Popstar, four different beings were sitting by a big lake far from the outskirts of Cappy Town. They were Kirby, Tiff, Tuff, and Bandana Waddle Dee (a Waddle Dee who decided he was tired of being bossed around by King Dedede). Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee were chasing each other around until the Waddle Dee tripped and Kirby tackled him while Tiff and Tuff were fishing.
"Ooooof! You got me again, Kirby! Don't you ever get tired?" Bandana Waddle Dee said.
"Hahaha! Kirby, tired? Maybe in another dimension!" Tuff said.
"Kirby's energy level is probably on par with his appetite!" Tiff said. She suddenly felt her fishing line being tugged on.
"Hey, Tiff! I think you got something!" Tuff shouted. Tiff did her best to reel her catch in while the others cheered her on. Finally, Tiff made a firm tug and pulled out what she caught… only for it to be Kine the fish.
"Kine!?" everyone minus Kirby shouted.
"Hohoho! You caught me again, Tiff! Maybe it's a sign!" Kine said.
"Sigh… sorry, Kine. I forgot my scuba diving gear again." Tiff said.
"Awwww… that's okay! You know I can make air bubbles for you to swim in!" Kine said.
"I know. You're so sweet, Kine, but…" Tiff started to say.
"Whoa, Tiff! What's that!?" Tuff said as he pointed to the sky.

While Kine jumped off Tiff's fishing rod and hid back under the sea as purple lightning crackled in the sky, a rift suddenly opened up. Our heroes slowly approached the underside of this tear in space.
"W…w…what's that?" Bandana Waddle Dee asked.
"Beats me! I hope it's not the Nightmare coming back to life!" Tuff said.
"It could be anything, Tuff." Tiff said. She and the others suddenly heard a female scream get gradually louder and louder until finally the group saw what appeared to be a massive female humanoid falling out. Of course, we knew this female to be Star Butterfly.
"AAAAAH!!!" Star screamed.
"RUN AWAY!!!" Tiff screamed as she and the others scrambled into an opening in the nearby rocky hill, just as Star slammed onto the ground and sent a massive shockwave that kicked up all sorts of ground or water.

Star slowly stirred around before sitting up and brushing her numerous items of clothing off.
"Ugh… from now on I should summon a pillow. These landings from these dimensional travels are getting rougher and rougher!" Star said. She stood back to her full height and looked out in the distance at the many different lands.
"Where am I, anyway? Wherever this is… it sure looks adorable! Teehee!" Star said.

In the meantime, our heroes looked up in awe over the 150-foot-tall girl that was now looking around.
"Whoa… she's gigantic!" Tuff said.
"She's… she's…" Bandana Waddle Dee said as he tried to find words to describe the giantess, only for Tiff to cut in, complete with sparkles in her eyes.
"She looks amazing!" Tiff said.
"Um… Popstar to Tiff… hello!" Tuff said as he waved his hands in front of Tiff.
"Oh, um, sorry." Tiff said.
"Gosh, Tiff! You really spaced out there!" Bandana Waddle Dee said.
"Er… yeah. It's just… just look at her! With clothes like that, maybe she's a Star Warrior!" Tiff said.
"But what's up with those horns on top of her head? And her shoes…" Tuff said.
"Hey, wait! Where's Kirby?" Bandana Waddle Dee suddenly asked. All three looked around trying to find Kirby… only to see him running rather happily towards the giantess's shoes.
"Kirby!!!" Tiff shouted as she and the others ran after Kirby.

Star continued to carefully examine her surroundings when she suddenly heard a faint voice calling up to her. That's when she looked down and saw the smallest pink ball ever jumping up and down at her, which of course was Kirby.
"Huh?" Star said. She squinted at first trying to get a better look at Kirby, but finally had to resort to carefully getting down on her knees and finally looking at Kirby's face.
"Oh? Are you a native of this world?" Star asked. Kirby continued to utter all sorts of noises, which told the giantess one thing.
"I take it you can't talk? Well, that makes you look all the more cuter!" Star said.
"Kirby!" a female voice shouted in the distance. Star looked and saw more tiny living beings, namely Bandana Waddle Dee, Tiff, and Tuff all approaching Kirby. The three all looked way up the giant Star.
"Um… h-h-hello, giant lady!" Tuff shouted.
"Teehee… hi! More teeny tiny cuties!" Star said with that signature smile of hers.
"Excuse me, but are you a Star Warrior, by chance?" Tiff asked.
"Er… well… I'm more of a princess, but I like to think of myself as a pretty soldier of love and justice who will punish the forces of evil in the name of Mewni!" Star said as she stood to her full height and did a heroic pose, even stomping the ground that caused it to shake and a echoing boom to go out in the distance.
"She's so cool!" Tiff said.

Bandana Waddle Dee and Kirby stood together as they stepped in front of Tiff and Tuff and asked some questions.
"So, um… what's your name?" Bandana Waddle Dee said. Star kneeled down again and gently scooped up our heroes into her bare hand so she could better hear them.
"I'm Star. Star Butterfly, to be exact." Star said.
"I see! Welcome to Popstar! This is Kirby, my best friend. I'm Bandana Waddle Dee, and behind me are a couple other friends… Tiff and Tuff." Bandana Waddle Dee said.
"You say you come from Mewni? I've never heard of it!" Tuff said.
"Hahaha! Don't feel bad. I've never heard of this Popstar world you speak of either, and I've been to a LOT of dimensions." Star said.
"Oh? You travel to other dimensions?" Bandana Waddle Dee asked.
"Well, sorta. Only when evil forces try to take over wherever I go, whether it's Mewni or Earth." Star said.
"Defeating evil must be no sweat for you, given how big you are!" Tiff said.
"Actually, I'm normally not this big. In fact, except for this one shrimp of an alien named Ludo, every villain I've fought has been the same size or bigger than me!" Star said.

Before the group could chat any further, however, Bandana Waddle Dee happened to look down at the dirt path and saw an interesting development.
"Huh? Hey, guys! Look down there!" Bandana Waddle Dee said. Kirby, Tiff, Tuff, and the giant Star all looked in the same direction where they saw a group of Waddle Dee carrying numerous items of food towards Dedede Castle.
"Huh? What are all those Waddle Dee doing with all that food?" Tuff asked.
"Probably no good, knowing King Dedede." Tiff said.
"Who's King Dedede?" Star asked.
"Ooooooh… he's no good! He's mean to everyone, including Waddle Dee!" Tuff said.
"That's why I left his guard, after all!" Bandana Waddle Dee said.
"And he especially hates Kirby. He'll try anything to get him to leave this planet! And yet he lets our family live inside the castle." Tiff said.
"Ooooooh… I hate rulers like that! We should go teach him a lesson!" Star said. She started to walk towards the castle, but was stopped by Tiff's voice.
"Star, wait! No offense, but you could cause a panic by walking around at that size." Tiff said.
"Awwww… come on, Tiff! I'd like to see King Dedede try and take her down!" Tuff said.
"It's too risky! You better wait here and let us handle this." Tiff said.
"Oh, alright." Star said as she gently set her new friends down on the ground. Tiff and the group ran a short ways to her mini car, hopping inside and driving off towards the castle. Star watched the group drive off in the distance and twiddled her hands (and wand) around.
"I can't just stand here and do nothing! Marco was right, I can be impatient sometimes." Star said as she slowly followed the car towards the castle (unknown to everyone inside).

Meanwhile, at Dedede Castle as the sun started to set, Escargoon sighed as he watched his boss, King Dedede, sit back on his throne and scarf on another apple. All around his throne were various items of food and numerous Waddle Dee dumping the food either behind or around his throne.
"Heh heh heh heh!! Keep them goodie goods coming, Waddle Dee!" Dedede shouted as he gobbled the apple up in a few bites.
"Ugh… so much for that new year's diet. Don't you remember what happened the last time you stuffed your tummy full of yummy goodies?" Escargoon said, only to get the leftovers of the apple thrown onto his head.
"Oh, pipe down, you snail brain! All that fighting with Kirby has gotten me hungry again!" Dedede said.
"Are you certain of that? Or is because of that purple heart thingy that landed on your doorstep this morning? Have you even looked at yourself in the mirror, lately?" Escargoon said as he took note of the purple glow in the king's eyes. But Dedede didn't answer, instead continuing to shove food down into his tummy.
That is until he and Escargoon watched as the front doors busted open, with a few Waddle Dees tumbling inside. Tiff, Tuff, Kirby, and Bandana Waddle Dee then ran inside, all with angry looks on their faces.
"King Dedede! What are you up to!?" Tiff shouted.
"Hey! What's the dang blasted idea barging into my throne room!?" Dedede shouted as he jumped onto his feet.
"Yeah! You kids have some nerve coming in here like that!" Escargoon shouted.
"And you dare show yourself at my castle again, you traitor!?" Dedede angrily shouted towards Bandana Waddle Dee as he armed himself with his hammer.
"Hey, everyone! Look at his eyes! They have a purple glow to them." Tuff said.
"Come on, Kirby, let's get him!" Bandana Waddle Dee said as he and Kirby got into a battle pose.

The battle raged on between our heroes and King Dedede with everyone using their signature moves… well, everyone except Escargoon and a few scared Waddle Dees who ran out of the throne room so they wouldn't get hurt. It proved too much for King Dedede and he collapsed onto the floor but slowly got back up.
"Give it up, King Dedede! You won't be taking any more of Cappy Town's food supply!" Tiff shouted.
"Heh heh heh… little girlie… I decide when it's time to give it up! RAWWWWWWWWR!!!" Dedede roared as he suddenly flexed his arms upward, his chest heaved forward, and his body became surrounded in a purple fog. Everyone gasped as part of Dedede's robe suddenly ripped apart and the evil king had the most muscular arms imaginable.
"Whoa! What kind of vitamins has he been eating!?" Tuff shouted.
"Hurhurhur!!! Now I'll smash you dumbbells like the dumbbells you are!" Dedede said as he slammed his fists down on the ground, causing it to crumble apart and everyone to fall one floor down.
And that's when the battle raged on again. Tiff tried to help out any way she could by picking up a torn up piece of floor.
"Suck it up, Kirby!" Tiff shouted as she threw the 'boulder' towards Kirby, who inhaled it and transformed instantly into Stone Kirby.
"Alright! Go, Stone Kirby!" Tuff shouted.

But despite everyone's best efforts, King Dedede proved too strong. After swinging from a nearby pillar, Dedede knocked both Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee for a loop, knocking them both into Tiff and Tuff and sending all four to the floor. The group could only watch helplessly as the muscular King Dedede marched up towards them.
"Now then, what's say I throw ya'll halfway across the planet?" Dedede said. He started to reach down and pick up the four until he felt the ground occasionally shake and booming sounds echoed from outside. Before he could wonder what was going on, he watched as some kind of cyan-colored giant wall suddenly obstructed his view of the outside, especially the beautiful sunset. The 'wall' rapidly changed in appearance to that of a girl's face. That face, of course, belonged to the giant Star Butterfly.
"Are YOU the King Dedede my new friends have been talking about?" Star said.
"Waaaaaah! What in the name of…!" Dedede shouted, only to suddenly be grabbed and pulled out of the castle by the angry giantess.
"Hmmm… you look quite muscular, but you're not so tough when you're the size of a toy!" Star said. She squeezed her hand holding the king, who promptly reacted.
"Ack! Not so hard!" Dedede said.
"I don't know what your end game is, but you leave my new friends alone! Got it!?" Star shouted.
"Okay, okay, okay! Just please let me go!" Dedede said.
"Okay!" Star said as she threw Dedede back into the castle. He crashed against one of the walls and bounced all around them, like he had been fully drained of energy and was prone to exploding.

He finally crash landed on the floor, right on the pile of food he had accumulated, sending them flying everywhere. He also lost a glowing purple heart, although that wasn't anyone's focus right now. First, everyone watched as King Dedede returned to his normal state (with his robe magically being restored in the process). While Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee did their victory dance, Tiff and Tuff approached the edge where they looked out at the giant Star.
"Errrr… thanks!" Tiff said.
"Heh… I'm sorry. I know you told me to wait at the lake, but my inner superheroine told me you needed my help." Star said.
"Well, we're glad you did! I'm not sure I could take much more of King Dedede's spinach eating sailor-man arms." Tuff said. Tiff tried to hold in a giggle.
"Hey, guys, what's this?" Bandana Waddle Dee as he and Kirby approached the purple heart. Nobody had any idea that this was a Jamba Heart fragment just yet, but still, it gained everyone's attention.
"I don't know, but it doesn't look friendly. Let's be careful." Tiff said. She and the others approached the Jamba Heart fragment, and Star also leaned in to get a closer look. Suddenly, the heart jumped around a couple times before taking off for the skies, almost hitting Star in her face.
"Whoa! Watch it!" Star shouted.

The group watched as the heart flew away.
"Awwww… I guess we'll never know the story behind that heart." Tuff said.
"Maybe not. If I can register its energy signature into my wand, we can track it down." Star said as she waved and tapped her wand for a few seconds.
"And there." Star said.
"Wow… amazing! So where did the heart go?" Tiff asked.
"Actually, my wand needs time to process the energy. We probably won't know until tomorrow morning." Star said.
"Heh… I guess this means you'll be sticking around, right?" Bandana Waddle Dee asked.
"Yeah! But what about King Dedede?" Star asked.
"Oh, don't worry. He'll wake up after a little while." Tuff said.
"We should get out of here and back to the lake before he does wake up and throw a fit." Tiff said.
"Okay! I'll meet you back there." Star said as the giantess marched away, as did Tiff, Tuff, and Bandana Waddle Dee. Kirby started to follow, but something compelled him to walk towards the unconscious King Dedede. He suddenly summoned a pink heart which was half the size of the purple heart seen earlier. Kirby watched as the Friend Heart floated its way towards the villain.
"Kirby, let's go!" Tiff shouted from the other side of the room, and Kirby finally followed suit.

Night had fallen by the time our heroes returned to the lake where they first met the giant Star. Tuff and Kirby were already fast asleep, snuggling themselves against Star's dress while the giantess sat still and was cradling Tiff and Bandana Waddle Dee in her arms.
"I hope you don't think I'm weird for staring at you, Star. It's just… I don't see too many heroic women like you around. Come to think of it, you're the second such warrior I've seen behind Sirica." Tiff said.
"Haha! Well, I'm honored! And no, I don't think you're weird at all. I had quite a few boys stare at me when I first came to Earth." Star said.
"Tell me, Star. Do you have the power to return to your home dimension?" Bandana Waddle Dee asked.
"Well, yes. I always carry a pair of dimensional scissors around. Mom and Dad told me never to leave home without them! Hahaha!" Star said.
"Oh good! I was worried you'd be stuck here. That said, why stay here when you have the power to go home?" Bandana Waddle Dee asked. Tiff was worried Star would feel unwelcome with such a question, but the teenage giantess instead smiled.
"I feel like I'm destined to go where I'm wanted, and I feel like this dimension will need me and my powers." Star said.
"I see… well, luckily, you have the size to match that power! That was so cool the way you handled King Dedede!" Bandana Waddle Dee said.
"Heh heh… it did fell really good, actually. I bet you wish you could do that, right, Tiff? Huh? Tiff?" Star asked, only to look down and see Tiff had fallen asleep. She suddenly heard a loud yawn coming from Bandana Waddle Dee, and she looked to see him dozing off as well.
"Hmmmm… they must've had a long day. *yawwwwwwn* And me too…" Star said as she yawned herself. With careful precision to make sure she didn't crush her friends both in her arms and next to her legs, Star eventually laid down on the grassy plain and fell asleep herself.

Everyone would be awakened not just by the morning sun rising in the distance, but also by a beeping sound coming from Star's wand. After Star was the first to wake up and rub her eyes, causing Tiff and Bandana Waddle Dee to slide down her body and land where Tuff and Kirby had been sleeping, the giantess picked up her wand and saw the blinking lights on the star pattern.
"Oh… my wand seems to have gotten a fix on that purple heart's energy." Star said.
"Awesome, Star! Can you tell us where it's pointing?" Tiff asked.
"To the northeast, not that far from here." Star said.
"Hmmm… I believe that's where the World of Miracles is." Bandana Waddle Dee said.
"Then that's where we're going." Tiff said.
"Huh? Wait… what's that coming?" Tuff said as he pointed in the distance over a nearby hill. The group watched as none other than King Dedede was descending down the hill.

"King Dedede!" our heroes shouted.
"Ooooooh… you've got some nerve coming here to attack again! Maybe I should make you like a splat of bubble gum under my shoe!" Star said as she started to raise one of her giant legs up.
"No, wait, giant girlie! I come in peace!!!" Dedede shouted.
"Yeah, right. You're just trying to trick us again, especially Kirby!" Tiff shouted.
"Speculate all ya want, Tiffy, but I speak the honest truth. I don't know what came over me last night. It was like some evil force was asking me to destroy my diet ten times over!" Dedede said.
"You mean…?" Tuff asked.
"Yep, that no good purple heart thingy. I got a feeling it's gonna mean bad news not just for Popstar, but the entire galaxy!" Dedede said as he finally approached Kirby.
"Listen, I know we have us a checkered past, but I give my word I won't mash you if you let me help you track down that heart thingy. What do you say?" Dedede asked. Kirby happily shouted some stuff and the two shook hands.
"Well… I'll be darned." Bandana Waddle Dee said.
"Well, if Kirby's okay with it, then it's okay with the rest of us." Tiff said.
"Wait, what about Escargoon and the rest of your Waddle Dees?" Tuff asked.
"They gonna stay behind at Dedede Castle. It needs to be repaired after what I and… ahem… the giant girl did to it." Dedede said.
"Oops… sorry!" the giant Star acknowledged.
"Alright then! Let's not waste another second! To the World of Miracles we go!" Tiff said.
"On foot? It's gonna be nightfall by the time we get there! And my car is under repair too!" Dedede said. Suddenly, everyone felt themselves being scooped up by the giant Star.
"Need a lift?" Star asked with that signature smile of hers.
"Thanks, Star! I'll point the way." Tiff said.
"Just… watch your step along the way!" Tuff said.
"Don't worry, my friends. I'll be careful. Star Allies, we march!" Star said happily before she got walking.
"Hmmm… Star Allies. I like that!" Bandana Waddle Dee said with Kirby giving his own nods (and sounds) of approval.

It took almost a couple hours (with a stop for food along the way), but the group finally arrived at what we know as the Inside Islands. Naturally, the tropical setting piqued the interest of the giantess.
"Oh? What a lovely looking beach setting." Star said.
"This is the Inside Islands. It's a popular place for people in Popstar to go for a tropical vacation." Tiff said.
"Yeah! Mom & Dad like to take us here often." Tuff said.
"Ooooooh… it looks so nice. Why don't we take a break from all this adventuring?" Star said. The others started to say something, but King Dedede leapt right off Star's hand, throwing off his robe in the process…
"Last one in's a not so wet blanket! Yahoo!" Dedede shouted as he splashed right into the water.
"Huh? But we don't even have our inner tubes!" Tiff said.
"No problem! You can borrow some of mine." Star said with a smile. She waved her wand around and everyone, even Kirby, found themselves with inner tubes around their bodies.
"Whoa! How did you do that, Star?" Tuff asked.
"Oh, it's nothing. My wand can do pretty much anything I wish for it to do… including this." Star said. After gently setting her friends down on the ground next to her boots, Star circled her wand above her body and showered herself with sparkles.
Eventually, Star glowed a bright white and then reappeared wearing her swimsuit (from the episode Royal Pain), complete with floral bandana that bunched up and concealed most of her hair. Tiff's eyes once again sparkled with delight.
"Oh, Star… you're magnificent…" Tiff said.
"Teehee… thanks. I wish Marco was this complimentary. But never mind that, let's jump in!" Star said as she stepped over the group, giving them an up close view of her bare foot, and submerged herself into the water.

For the next few minutes, everyone casually swam around the open water soaking in both the sunlight from above and the water they were surrounded by, although Kirby and the others at times would climb aboard Star's shoulders and use her arms like slides down into the water, much to her delight.
"Ahhhh… being this big sure does have its advantages." Star said.
However, our heroes couldn't relax or play for long, especially as the sky clapped with thunder and lightning once again.
"Whoa! What's going on!?" Bandana Waddle Dee shouted. The group then looked over at the nearby hillside where a familiar face popped up.
"Hey, look! It's Meta Knight!" Tiff shouted.
"I guess he wants to take a vacation too." Tuff said.
"Wait! Look at his eyes!" Bandana Waddle Dee shouted. Everyone focused on Meta Knight's eyes. Instead of the usual yellow, they were glowing purple much like King Dedede's eyes were yesterday.
"Them purple eyes sure don't look friendly!" Dedede shouted.
"Kirby! I challenge you to a duel to the death!" Meta Knight shouted as he threw an ordinary sword towards Kirby, quickly pulling out his familiar golden sword, Galaxia, afterwards. Kirby instinctively inhaled the sword and transformed into Sword Kirby. Meta Knight quickly charged towards his enemy.
"Yikes! Not again!" Tiff shouted.

As the other normal sized heroes (and King Dedede) jumped out of the way and watched Kirby and Meta Knight clash swords, Star of course couldn't stand by and watch the action, especially at her lopsided size advantage.
"Hey! Leave my friends alone!" Star said. The giantess started to raise her leg and stomp it to give everyone a good shake. However… a cloud of purple darkness suddenly shot out from Meta Knight and swirled around the giantess, freezing her in place.
"What the… I can't move!" Star shouted. She gulped nervously wondering what the purple cloud would do until finally it moved away from her. It slowly grew larger and took the shape of a humanoid. In fact… Star was now looking at herself, all 150 feet in height, but made entirely out of the purple smog. The cloudy Star swung her wand around and took a battle stance.
"Oooooooh… so you think you can stand toe to toe with me? There's only one giant Star Butterfly in the universe, and that's ME!" Star said as she lunged forward and gave her wand a swing, only to have it deflected by her shadow clone. Soon, these two were having their own clang-for-clang match, but unlike Kirby and Meta Knight, they were moving all over the place, crushing the ground and spraying water everywhere depending upon where they stepped. Our heroes had to jump out of the way to avoid being crushed.
"Yikes! It's getting way too crowded in here!" Dedede said. At the same time, the battle between Kirby and Meta Knight was intensifying. Meta Knight's eyes glowed more purple and his body became shrouded in the purple darkness. On top of all that, three copies suddenly formed.
"This is getting serious, Tiff! What are we gonna do? Yikes!" Tuff said as he and the others jumped out of the way before Shadow Star could crush them. Also, some boulders that Meta Knight summoned landed next to our heroes.
"We gonna rock and roll, that's what we gonna do!" Dedede said as he whacked one of the boulders airborne with a mighty swing of his hammer.

Where did it fly, you ask? Right into the stomach of 'Shadow Star,' who clutched it and looked like she would be screaming in pain if she had a voice. This gave Star the opportunity she needed to deliver the finishing blow as she held her wand high.
"Astro la pasta, weasel! Or whatever it was that Marco said…" Star said as she charged up her wand and fired a laser blast worthy of a gigantic cannon on an airship. The laser easily disintegrated the evil Star clone, with Star watching as she literally went up in a puff of smoke. Star then quickly turned her attention to Meta Knight. She stepped towards him and then wound up her wand…
"Fore!!!" Star shouted as she swung her wand down like a golf club. The three clones of Meta Knight all burst into purple smoke while the real Meta Knight bounced from one palm tree to another like a pinball until finally collapsing on the ground near our heroes. Also bouncing around was another glowing purple heart, much like the one King Dedede had yesterday.
"Whoa! Another purple heart!" Tuff said.
"Or is that the same one King Dedede had yesterday?" Tiff said. Our heroes then watched Meta Knight slowly stir awake.
"Ooooooh… it's not often I get headaches like this." Meta Knight said.
"Meta Knight, are you okay?" Bandana Waddle Dee asked.
"Yes, I am fine now. I felt an evil presence take over my mind. Please accept my apologies, Kirby. You know I would never provoke you into a battle without absolute necessitation." Meta Knight said.
"It's alright, Meta Knight. Actually, the person you should thank is Star. She literally knocked some sense into you." Tiff said as she pointed behind Meta Knight up at the giantess. Meta Knight looked up at Star, who just smiled and waved.
"Er… hi." Star said. Realizing she was still in her swimsuit at the same time, Star waved her wand all over herself and returned to her normal outfit.
"Hmmmm… I always believed heroes and heroines came in all shapes and sizes, and you certainly qualify." Meta Knight said.
"Thanks! I… I think." Star said.

The group then watched as the heart floated around once again and then flew away into the distance.
"Awwww… there goes that heart again!" Tuff said.
"That way leads to the mountain region." Meta Knight said.
"We need to keep up with it before it gets too far away! Everyone need a lift again?" Star said as she kneeled down and held a hand out. Everyone hopped onboard the palm, including Meta Knight.
"Rulers of kingdoms, women, and children first!" Dedede said as he shoved Kirby aside, who briefly gave him a dirty look before climbing onboard the hand.
"Oh? You're coming with us, Meta Knight?" Tiff asked.
"It is the only way to atone for my defensive weakness… by assisting you like a friend in defeating whatever evil lurks behind that heart." Meta Knight said.
"Anything you say!" Tiff said. With everyone snugly on board, Star stood back up to her full height and walked off the resort, heading to the stretch of land that would lead to the mountains.

Star was walking quickly, covering a lot of ground thanks to her size. Luckily there were very few living beings directly in her path, and our heroes were enjoying the view from Star's chest level.
"Teehee! It's like riding the Warp Star from up here!" Tiff said.
"I bet you're having the time of your life with this anime girly holding onto you. Ow!" Dedede said, only to get a poke on the head from one of the giantess's fingers.
"Oops… sorry! Butterfingers." Star said. As Dedede mumbled a bunch of nonsense, suddenly Bandana Waddle Dee gasped and pointed forward.
"Whoa! What's that coming from the sky!?" Bandana Waddle Dee said. Star came to a stop as she watched the gigantic object descend from the atmosphere. It was huge… the structure didn't make her feel so tall anymore. But she and everyone else watched as the enormous spaceship came crashing into the ground, sending chunks of the planet shooting upward and nearly knocking the giant Star off her feet. What everyone didn't know yet was this was the Fortress of Shadows itself, the Jambastion.
"Dang! Where can I get one of those?" Dedede said, only of course to get dirty looks from everyone else.
"Something tells me this is the source of all our problems." Meta Knight said.
"You're right, Meta Knight. Should we go in?" Bandana Waddle Dee asked.

Suddenly, the group watched as a big star came flying in and approached Kirby.
"Oh! It's the Warp Star!" Tiff said.
"What's the Warp Star?" Star asked.
"It's something Kirby and us ride to quickly jump from one location to another." Tuff said. Kirby excitedly jumped up and down and then hopped onboard the star.
"Well, if Kirby's onboard, so are we!" Tiff said as everyone else, aside of course from the giant Star, jumped onboard.
"But how are we going to get inside that fortress?" Tuff asked. Star smiled and flexed her muscles.
"Leave everything to me!!" Star said. The giantess wasted no time in charging towards the fortress.
"Go for it, Star!" Tuff shouted as the Warp Star flew behind Star. As the group got closer to the fortress, the sky quickly became darker and darker, filling with evil energy.

Inside the fortress, minions galore were walking around until one of the walls suddenly burst apart. The minions all gasped and came to a stop as they looked up at the towering giantess known as Star Butterfly.
"Star Butterfly versus the forces of evil!" Star said as she stomped forward and either kicked or stomped on the minions that tried to escape. The rampage went on seemingly forever, although it was more like an hour to be exact, as Star easily rammed through any obstacle that stood in her way. Kirby and his Dream Friends all stayed behind the giantess, walking on the ground, and marveled over the impressive display of power.
"Wow… she's so magnificent!" Tiff said.
"I wouldn't want to get on her bad side!" Tuff said.
"Heh… I know first hand. I still got them bruises from yesterday!" Dedede said. The group then watched her trample over a series of platforms of different heights… almost like they were buildings in a city.
"Hmmm… she acts like she has done something like this before." Meta Knight commented as he took care of a stray minion with his sword.

Finally, the group came upon an almost empty room. There was nothing inside but windows and a glass ball containing some glowing liquid which was actually the main reactor core of the ship.
"Where to now? This fortress is feeling more like a maze." Bandana Waddle Dee said.
"I've got a bad feeling about this place…" Tiff said. Star walked around herself… until she suddenly found herself surrounded by a combination of fire, ice, and lightning.
"Hey! What the… Ow!" Star said as she immediately felt a burn on her fingers when she touched the part of the wall that was on fire.
"Star!" Tiff shouted.
"Oh sure… open your big ol' mouth why don't you!?" Dedede said.
"Jamblasted! Jamblast it all!" three female voices suddenly shouted. The group of heroes frantically looked around until they finally saw three female figures flying in. They all looked similar, except one had red spiky hair, one had blue hair, and another had a smooth cut of yellow hair.
"Who are you three!?" Tuff said.
"We are the Three Mage Sisters. Flamberge, Francisca, and me, Zan Partizanne!" Zan Partizanne said.
"And you are not welcome here on our Fortress of Shadows, the Jambastion!" Flamberge shouted.
"Wait! Are you the ones responsible for sending down those shadowy hearts?" Tiff asked.
"Our apologies for your world having become involved in our hunt for the Jamba Heart fragments. But it soon won't matter." Francisca said.
"The Jamba Heart is over 90% restored now. Once it is fully reassembled, our master, Lord Hyness, can begin his conquest of the galaxy." Zan Partizanne said.
"In the meantime, we've been instructed not to let anyone interfere! Especially this giant lady here! Don't you know it's rude to go fee fi fo fum all over this station!?" Flamberge said.
"We will not allow you to succeed in your mission." Meta Knight said. That's when the three sisters drew their weapons… Flamberge with her rod of fire, Francisca with her rod of ice, and Zan Partizanne with her rod of lightning.
"Arrrrgh! I say we burn these heroes to a crisp!" Flamberge said.
"And put them on ice forever!" Francisca said.
"And give them the shock of their lives!" Zan Partizanne said as the three flew into battle.

It was pretty much a battle royale from this point forward as everyone fought with whatever weapons or powers they could salvage against the three sisters. Star was annoyed that she couldn't do anything but watch, as no matter what she tried, the giantess couldn't find a way out of her prison. Pretty much all her magic was ineffective.
"Darn it! I feel so helpless…" Star said with a tear coming out of her eye as she gripped her wand in frustration. She felt it was all up to Kirby and his friends now.

Fortunately, they were up to the task. Between Meta Knight's sword, King Dedede's hammer, Bandana Waddle Dee's yo-yo, Kirby's ability to steal powers from projectiles like fireballs, lightning bolts, and snowballs… and finally the cheerleading from Tiff and Tuff… it was all enough to eventually overcome all three sisters as they fell to the floor.
"Waaaaaaah!!!" they all screamed when they felt their energy run dry. Like earlier boss battles, purple glowing hearts came flying out of the three ladies. At the same time, the multi elemental barrier surrounding Star broke down, allowing the giantess to move freely again. She quickly reached down and picked up all our heroes, cuddling them against her face even as tears were falling from her eyes.
"Oh thank goodness you all won! I'm soooooooo sorry I couldn't help you!" Star said.
"It's okay, Star! I knew Kirby and everyone else could do it!" Tiff said.
"Still… *sniff sniff* I'll do my best not to get trapped like that again." Star said.
"I admire that about you, Star Butterfly. Always wanting to help those in need." Meta Knight said.
"Heh heh… that's what my Mom used to always encourage me to do." Star said.
"Look! More of those glowing hearts! We should grab them while we have the chance." Tuff said. Star nodded and reached down to pick up the hearts.

But Francisca and Flamberge swooped in and grabbed all three hearts, then flying to Zan Partizanne's side to help her up.
"Ugh… Jam… Blasted… How could there be such opposition on a measly and remote planet like this!?" Zan Partizanne said.
"I agree! Even after trapping that giant girl, we still couldn't defeat that pink puffball!" Flamberge said. Kirby had a mean look on his face.
"You better believe Kirby is one tough cream puff!" Dedede said to everyone's amazement, especially as he patted Kirby on his head.
"Bah! We have no choice then. All of you and this Jambastion can rot in ruin… FOREVER!" Zan Partizanne shouted as she flew towards the ball of glowing liquid in the center of the room. She and her sisters speared their weapons into the glass ball, shattering it and sending liquid everywhere. At the same time, the entire room began to shake violently.
"Bwahahahaha! Jambuhbye, losers!" Zan Partizanne shouted as she and the other sisters all flew out of the room, crashing through the nearby windows.
"I think it's time to go!" Tuff shouted.
"Everyone, this way!" Star said as she once again plowed the way, steamrolling through wall after wall as the fortress crumbled around our heroes.

Everyone kept running until they finally came across a very large gap.
"Eeeeek! That gap is too big for us!" Tiff shouted. The group looked back to see the ledge they were standing on crumbling apart.
"And we're running out of time!" Tuff shouted. Star looked over the gap and realized it was just the right length for her massive size, and that's when she thought on the fly and quickly picked up Kirby and everyone else.
"Everyone hold on tight… and don't fall into my stomach!" Star said.
"Star, what are you… ACK!!!" Bandana Waddle Dee as he and the others all gasped when they suddenly found themselves tossed into the giantess's mouth, landing squarely on her tongue. Star did her best not to gulp or breathe too hard as she backed up and made the massive leap to the next ledge. Covering her head to keep falling debris from knocking her out, Star continued to charge through the Jambastion.

After breaking through one final wall, Star was back outside. She looked back and watched the Jambastion crumble apart, leaving it nothing more than an empty shell. Star exhaled through her nose and then remembered who she had stuck in her mouth. That's when she got down on her knees and spat everyone out. She giggled a little bit seeing everyone covered from head to toe in saliva.
"Bleh! Yuck! This may finally be that one time I take a shower!" Dedede said.
"Heh heh… sorry everyone! It was the only way to guarantee your safety!" Star said.
"No troubles, Star Butterfly. That was quick and ingenious thinking on your part." Meta Knight said.
"Haha! Believe us, Star. It's a HUGE compliment whenever Meta Knight makes one!" Tuff said.
"I'll keep that in mind!" Star said.
"Sooooo… is that it? Did we win?" Bandana Waddle Dee said. Tiff looked high up in the sky and saw a faint purple light.
"Far from it. Those evil sisters got away, and they're probably charging up the full Jamba Heart." Tiff said.
"If they succeed, the entire universe will fall under great darkness." Meta Knight said.
"No way are we going to let that happen! I've come too far just to see a world like this fall under darkness." Star said.
"Does that mean you'll keep helping us, Star?" Tiff asked. Star twirled her famous wand around and smiled.
"I swear on my Mewberty!" Star said.
"Your what what!? It better not be contagious!" Dedede shouted.
"Er… don't worry. It's not." Star said.

The giantess then held her wand up high and it glowed bright. Soon, she and her miniature friends were glowing in the same manner.
"Oh? What's happened to us?" Bandana Waddle Dee asked.
"I absorbed a little bit of energy from that Warp Star from earlier. It will allow us to fly for a short while!" Star said.
"Awesome!" Tuff said.
"Alright, everyone! Let's ascend to the stars and find that Jamba Heart!" Star said.
"I just love when she takes charge…" Tiff said with hearts in her eyes.
"Er… come on, Tiff. We don't want to fall too far behind!" Bandana Waddle Dee said as he pointed up at Star soaring into the sky.
"Right… sorry!" Tiff said as she and other heroes, Kirby especially, followed from behind. Kirby couldn't help but fly alongside Star's giant face, prompting a smile and a wink from the giantess.

Once our heroes made it into outer space, they looked several miles in the distance where they saw another massive fortress… almost as big as the Jambastion was.
"Look! That must be their main base!" Tiff shouted.
"Then let us not waste another moment!" Meta Knight said. However, as the group flew over a planet known as Earthfall, Star felt a little pain rushing through her body.
"Ouch… oooooooof… guys! I need to settle down on this planet!" Star said as she flew down to the surface of this planet, with the heroes following from behind.
"What's wrong, Star?" Tiff asked as she and everyone else landed. Star looked down at her wand and saw it blinking red.
"I was afraid this would happen. I'm out of flight energy. Being out in space really takes a toll on this wand!" Star said.
"Perhaps if we gather enough star fragments, we can recharge your wand and resume space flight." Meta Knight said.
"Good thinking! Let's roam around and see what we can dig up!" Bandana Waddle Dee said.
"Heh heh heh! I'll have ya'll know that digging is my middle name!" Dedede said as he pushed up a patch of dirt with one swing of his hammer.
"Riiiiiight." Star said as walked with the heroes, being careful not to step on anyone, naturally.

For the next couple of hours, our heroes would fall into a regular routine. Scour planets for any kind of energy that would power up the giant Star's wand, fight bosses (some of them oversized but nowhere near as big as Star herself), then move onto the next planet. Most of the bosses didn't put up much of a challenge… except for one, which was the cloud with an eye better known as Kracko. Often times, Star would assist Kirby and his Star Allies by blowing Kracko out of the way, although Kracko would counter by shooting a couple lightning bolts at Star, shocking her temporarily.
"Yeouch! That smarts!" Star commented. In the end, though, our heroes proved triumphant and Kracko disappeared in a literal puff of smoke. Star then scooped up the fragments left behind in Kracko's wake.
"Here are a lot of fragments. This should be enough to get us to Jambandra Base." Star said.
"Alright! Let's go and finish off those nasty sisters!" Tuff said. Star nodded, and she and the rest of our heroes all took off for the starry sky once more.

After some more battling through the base (I won't bore you with the details), our heroes finally made it into The Divine Terminus, where they saw a white cloaked figure gathering together purple hearts into a much bigger purple heart that looked nearly complete. Before they could get any closer, a trio of female voices called out to them.
"Stop right there!" they shouted. Before our heroes knew it, Zan Partizanne, Flamberge, and Francisca all came flying in.
"I did not expect you to survive your visit to Jambastion." Zan Partizanne said.
"Either you were lucky to escape or you all have nine lives!" Flamberge said.
"But it matters not what you do to us for the second time." Francisca said.
"My sister speaks true. It is the dearest wish of Lord Hyness that no one interferes!" Zan Partizanne said as she and her sisters drew their weapons out.
"That's enough, ladies!" the cloaked figure suddenly shouted as he turned around and faced the Three Mage Sisters as well as our heroes.

"L-L-Lord Hyness?" Zan Partizanne said.
"As I suspected. I knew there was something special about the giant girl." Hyness said.
"Huh? What are you talking about?" Star asked from above.
"It seems the ancients that sealed away the Jamba Heart may have put in a secondary defensive measure when the magical spears that bounded it were pulled loose, which ended up dragging you to this universe in the first place." Hyness said. Star's eyebrows went up.
"So that must be the explanation behind that rift that dragged me in…" Star said.
"Must we… allow ourselves to fall… into oblivion? As this giant girl and her little friends will literally squash my dreams flat?" Hyness said.
"No. No no NO! Nonononononononononononono! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I SAY!!!!!!" Hyness suddenly screamed as he raised his arms up.

Suddenly he went berserk, waving his arms and shadowy face around and ranting and rambling at what felt like a million words a minute. All our heroes had stunned looks on their faces.
"This guy's nuts!" Tiff said.
"And you thought I had a big mouth!" Dedede shouted. Finally Lord Hyness took deep breaths and talked in a normal manner again.
"You see it now, don't you? Anyone who interrupts our revival ceremony… we must kindly ask that they PLEASE DISAPPEAR FOREVER!!!" Hyness said as he shot purple electric bolts up at Star, who couldn't dodge them in time (not that she could anyway given her massive size). The bolts surrounded themselves, and Star once again felt unable to move.
"Arrrrrgh! Not again!" Star shouted. With the giant Star paralyzed, this gave Hyness the chance to fight back against Kirby and his friends.

After a couple minutes, Hyness felt his life drain at the attacks from Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight, and Bandana Waddle Dee (with Tiff and Tuff once again cheerleading from the side). The last blow, in particular from Kirby, blew his cloak off and revealed his full body, complete with blue head and swirly eyes.
"Juh? JUH! JUHYAMBAVITRIGOKOPOKOGOOMBALOUDHOUSEJAAAAAAH!!!" Hyness said. The Three Mage Sisters suddenly came flying in front of Hyness.
"Lord Hyness! Allow us to help you!" Zan Partizanne said. The next thing everyone knew, the three sisters all flew in a circle around Hyness. Their skin and parts of their clothing all became very dark and they had bright red glows in their eyes. Kirby and his friends (minus Star who was still paralyzed) all got in their battle stances.
"Oy! Why do these final bosses always keep coming back for more?" Dedede said. Kirby and everyone else all gave funny looks back at King Dedede.
"What!?" Dedede said.
"Tiff. Tuff. Please stay back… this battle is unsafe for you." Meta Knight said.
"Awww… come on, we can help!" Tuff said.
"You heard him, Tuff! Besides, we should try and break Star free!" Tiff said.
"Okay…" Tuff said.

Throughout the adventure, Kirby and his Star Allies would team up for moves like Friend Circle, Friend Star, and Friend Train. Well, Hyness and the sisters were turning the tables on our heroes, using similar moves to try and attack them. Although there were some bumps and bruises, our heroes were hanging in there.
While this battle was going on, Tiff and Tuff were trying to figure out how to release the giant Star from her electric prison.
"Star! Don't worry! We'll save you!" Tiff said. Tuff reached out, only to have a bolt of lightning shock him in the hand.
"OW! Somehow…" Tuff said.
"Okay, but please don't hurt yourselves trying to do it. I'd hate to see you two get hurt." Star said. Just then, Tuff and Tiff watched as Meta Knight came flying in, looking a little hurt as he lost his grip on Galaxia. Tiff ran over and used all her might to pick up the heavy sword.
"Tiff, what are you…!" Tuff said.
"Stand back, Tuff!!" Tiff said as she took a mighty swing at the barrier. Sparks and lightning went flying everywhere, and Tiff fought with all her might to keep her grip on the sword.
"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!" Tiff shouted in pain. Finally, after a brilliant flash of purple light, Star felt free to move around again.
"Hey! I'm free! Tiff? Tiff!?" Star said as she looked down at Tiff who laid flat on the ground, unconscious and charred from head to toe.
"Sis! Come on, sis! Wake up! WAKE UP!!!" Tuff shouted as he vehemently shook her sister.

Tiff let out a few coughs and opened her eyes. As she did so, Meta Knight finally found the strength to get up and pick up Galaxia.
"Hey… Star… I told you… I'd free you…" Tiff said.
"Whew… sis… don't scare me like that again! Holding Galaxia is no easy task!" Tuff said.
"I am not surprised. It was your courage, determination, bravery, and will to help your giant friend that allowed you to wield that sword. You have come a long way, Tiff." Meta Knight said.
"Thanks… *cough cough!*" Tiff said. She was then picked up and smothered against her chest by the giant Star.
"Shhhhh… save your strength. I'll take care of the rest." Star said. She gently set Tiff down next to her brother and then got up and took a couple of steps into the battlefiend, watching as Hyness and the sisters flew high to evade a group attack by Kirby, King Dedede, and Bandana Waddle Dee.
"Lord Hyness! This is for paralyzing me!" Star said as she swung the back of her hand down at the villains. That smack alone caused them to break apart their group formation and they all went collapsing onto the ground.

Only Lord Hyness was barely moving and looked really upset.
"Youuuu… How could you defeat me… THE Lord Hyness?" Hyness said as he slowly stepped towards the nearly completed Jamba Heart.
"An offering to our Dark Lord… Perhaps if there is… an offering… Only one option!" Hyness said as the three sisters suddenly floated in mid-air.
"Those who harbor the greatest of magic… I call upon you…" Hyness said as the three sisters suddenly flew like darts to a dartboard into the Jamba Heart. Our heroes, including the giant Star, gasped.
"Did he just…?" Bandana Waddle Dee started to say, until Lord Hyness kept talking.
"Make it so. Accept my aid. I pledge myself to you. Rise, Dark Lord of Destruction… Rise, Destroyer of Worlds… RISE, VOID TERMINA! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Hyness said as he leapt into the Jamba Heart.
"No, stop!!!" Star shouted as she tried to reach down and grab Hyness, but it was too late.

The Jamba Heart was now completely whole once again, and immediately its dark magic began to spread outward and viciously shake up the area. The heart then flew straight upwards into the openness of space.
"We must go after it immediately!" Meta Knight shouted.
"Everyone grab on!" Star said as she held up her wand. Like a Warp Star, everyone (including Tiff with Tuff's assistance) clutched onto both of Star's legs as she powered up her wand. Once the giantess felt everyone was attached to her, she used her wand to shoot upwards out of The Divine Terminus.

She and our heroes eventually chased the shadow onto a glass-like surface that reflected the vast beauty of distant galaxies. Upon touchdown, everyone watched as the shadow continued to grow larger and larger… getting as big as Star herself! Then the shadow took a humanoid shape, sprouting arms and legs. Finally, the shadows melted away, revealing the ferocious beast itself, Void Termina.
"Gulp… that thing's huge!" Tuff said.
"Yes. But we have a gigantic Star Ally on our side." Meta Knight said as he patted Star on one of her giant boots. Star tightly clutched her wand and knew Meta Knight was right. She was the only one literally big enough to stand up to the beast, and there were no magical barriers to stop her this time.
"Tuff… we need to… *cough!*… get out of the way." Tiff said.
"Right, sis." Tuff said as he helped his still recovering sister to the outer edges of the arena. Star, meanwhile, looked down at Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede, and Bandana Waddle Dee.
"You four better stay behind. It's my turn to be the hero now." Star said. The giantess walked towards Void Termina even as he let out a mighty roar. Kirby jumped up and down and cheered for the giantess.
"I've taken down way bigger bogeys than you. No way am I about to let you consume our worlds!" Star shouted. Void Termina, meanwhile, slammed one of his fists down to send a shockwave towards Star, who easily flipped over the attack.

After running a few more steps towards the giant boss, the battle was on. Star and Void Termina took many swipes at each other, the former with her wand and the latter with his powerful fists.
"Wow… it's like watching an action heroine in battle…" Tiff said as her eyes sparkled over watching the heroic giantess battle it out.
"Oy… I like it better when there's a giant robot fighting the big, ugly monster." Tuff said. Over time, eyeballs would open up in various spots of Void Termina. Star would either use her wand like a sword or shoot stars out of it at these spots, and eventually they would explode and take small parts of his armor with him.
Void Termina would soon grow tired of taking this punishment from the giantess, and so he changed his fists into gigantic blades. This made Star gasp a bit, but she kept a firm face and magically transformed her own wand into a sparkling sword. The two giants clanged weapons, even as Void Termina lit them up with flames, forcing Star to backflip out of danger.

Kirby and his friends would soon get a piece of the action. Bandana Waddle Dee was the first to notice a portal of kind on Void Termina's backside as the monster turned around to try and slash Star.
"Hey, look at that portal!" Bandana Waddle Dee shouted.
"Maybe we can destroy that thing from inside!" King Dedede shouted.
"Let us take advantage of this opportunity then!" Meta Knight said. Kirby and the others all rushed towards this portal and quickly got sucked in like a vacuum or a Maxim Tomato into Kirby's mouth. When the foursome arrived inside, they were looking right smack at the heart of the gigantic beast.
"That must be the monster's heart!" Bandana Waddle Dee said.
"Make way, ya'll! I'm about to be a heart attacker!" King Dedede said as he did not hesitate in slamming his hammer against the heart. Everyone else, including Kirby with his Spear ability, took their shots as well while avoiding the giant projectiles, namely the drops of 'blood' in different shades of red. They had to do all this fighting while dancing around the unconscious bodies of Lord Hyness and the Three Mage Sisters.
Eventually the heart would break apart and be replaced with a floating ball of light with circles for eyes and an oval for a mouth that we know as Void Soul.
"What is that!?" King Dedede shouted.
"Who cares!? Let's just blow it up and get out of here!" Bandana Waddle Dee as he, Kirby, and the rest got to fighting this new essence.

While all that was going on, Void Termina realized the blades weren't working, and so he transformed his arms once again, this time into long and sharp wings. Flying up in the air, Star got frustrated with the sudden altitude advantage the monster had.
"Oh yeah!? Two can play this game!" Star said as a pair of wings suddenly sprouted out from her back. They started small and pink, but quickly grew to almost the size of Star's entire body with a golden glow. Star leapt up and took flight and the two were almost flying straight into each other. After some more swipes and scrapes, Void Termina finally charged up a powerful laser beam, unleashing it on Star, who couldn't dodge it in time and got pushed by the laser down the ground, causing a crater to form exactly shaped like her body.
"STAR!" Tiff shouted. She and Tuff worried as they watched Void Termina stand over Star, who was squirming around in pain, and hold one of his wings high above like he was going to poke Star with them.

But when that wing came within inches of Star's face, who closed her eyes thinking this was the end, Void Termina suddenly stumbled backwards, holding its chest and crying out in pain. As Star got back on her feet, she watched as Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight, Bandana Waddle Dee, Lord Hyness, and the Three Mage Sisters all came flying out from Void Termina's back. Except for Lord Hyness and the sisters who all disappeared into the galaxy in a blink, Kirby and everyone else landed next to the giant Star's boots. As for Void Termina himself, his body suddenly dissolved and was replaced with a bouncing, panicking Void Soul. He bounded up in the air and changed facial looks suddenly, from circular eyes and a mouth to that of a familiar sight by Meta Knight and an angry looking Kirby.
"It is Dark Matter!" Meta Knight said. Void Soul shot a laser out of its eye that Star quickly blocked with her wand, but it looked like the laser was soon going to overwhelm Star.
"Come on, everyone! We need to believe in Star!" Tiff shouted.

Suddenly, Kirby and everyone else all gathered together. On top of cheering for Star by repeating 'Go Star Butterfly!,' everyone eventually gathered together in the Star Allies Sparkler. Their support for the giant Star made her own laser become stronger and stronger, and despite Void Soul's best efforts, the laser pierced through, destroying his Dark Matter form and leaving him with three wobbling circles, trying to convey a facial expression that was begging for mercy. Soon, the ghosts of all the friends Kirby made with his Friend Hearts came flying in behind himself and the giant Star. One by one these ghosts slammed into Void Soul, which looked like it wanted to cry out in pain.
Star knew it was time for the finishing blow.
"For our friends…" Star said as she wound up her wand and fired, and with Kirby and his closest friends in close proximity, the blast proved so powerful, it was making every strand of Star's hair stand up, trying to fly off her head.
"For our Star Allies… FOR OUR UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!" Star screamed, closing her eyes at first and then opening them as widely as possible as she further intensified her laser blast.

There was a massive explosion that could be seen from every corner of the galaxy.

It looked like at first there were no survivors, but as many large chucks of rock came flying from the explosion site, so did Star. She had Kirby and his friends tucked against her chest as she rocketed through the makeshift asteroid field. After careful flying, the group finally made it all the way back to Popstar… where they were greeted with a rousing ovation from the citizens of Cappy Town, especially as Star set her new friends back down on the ground.
"We… we did it." Star said.
"We all did it. It was a tag team effort that makes the concepts of teamwork and friendship proud." Meta Knight said.
"Yeah, yeah, that's all well and good, but I'm starving after all that dang fighting! Hey, Escargoon, whip me up a victory salad or something! Wake up ya'll lazy good for nothing Waddle Dees!" King Dedede said as he went running up the hill to his castle. Our heroes couldn't help but laugh and giggle all the way until King Dedede was back inside.
Star, meanwhile, watched the town celebrate and congratulate everyone, especially Kirby, though a few did run up to Star's boots and pat them with their hands, thanking the giantess for helping out. But she still immediately thought of her home world, especially as the sun started to set on another day. That's when she walked away, heading towards the beach that started this whole adventure.

Star thought she had made it to the beach without anyone noticing, but just as she started to pull out her dimensional scissors, she heard someone call out to her.
"Star!" Tiff shouted. Star looked and saw Tiff (feeling much better now), Tuff, Kirby, and Bandana Waddle Dee all running up towards her. Star got down on her knees.
"Oh, hi! Sorry for running off like that… I'm just… not real good with long goodbyes." Star said.
"Star… do you really have to go? Why don't you stay? You can help Kirby destroy other forces of evil!" Tiff said. Star smiled.
"I appreciate the offer, Tiff… but I belong on Mewni, my home world. They're probably worried sick about me by now." Star said.
"It's cool, Star. We understand." Tuff said.
"Yeah! The power you showed in destroying Void Termina… that was awesome! I can see you defending a million other galaxies!" Bandana Waddle Dee said. Tiff walked up towards Star, standing a few yards away from her knees.
"I… I'll never forget you, Star Butterfly. Thank you." Tiff said. Star smiled.
"I'll never forget you either, everyone! I'll make a note of this dimension anytime I want to revisit. Heck, I kinda hope I stay this big for the next time!" Star said.
"Teehee… I would like that!" Tiff said. As she backed away to her friends, Star stood back up and then blew a kiss down to Kirby.
"Farewell, Kirby!" Star said with Kirby jumping up and down in excitement. He and the others soon waved goodbye as they watched Star cut open a dimensional rift with her scissors. Star waved one more time before jumping into the rift and vanishing out of sight, along with the rift itself.

As Star crash landed on her bed back in her bedroom of Butterfly Castle in Mewni, quickly realizing she was back to her normal size (or, now that she thought about it, maybe everyone in that dimension was tiny?), she laid back on her bed and thought back to the big adventure she had with her new friends… Kirby and the Star Allies. Saving an entire dimension was a nice bonus, she thought, as she got up and left her bedroom to let everyone know she was back.
