(Cubed Cinder)
It was another beautifully sunny day on the Wumpa Islands, and while most
creatures were running around doing whatever their day entailed while soaking in
the bright sunshine… that was not the case for young Coco Bandicoot. Coco was
tossing things left and right out from the pile.
“Hmmmm… Let’s see, junk, junk, junk, junk…” Coco said as she dug through the
pile, mostly of stuff that had been trashed beyond repair (albeit for good
reason!). Finally, she set her sights on one machine in particular.
“Hello? I believe I recognize your steely face.” Coco said. She was looking at a
slightly crumpled up Planetary Minimizer.
“Oh, I remember you quite well. It still amazes me Earth didn’t get damaged all
that much despite Dr. Neo Cortex laying his dirty fingers all over it even after
it got shrunk. And us with it… whew!” Coco said as her skin tingled over the
thought of seeing the evil doctor’s ugly mug replace the clear blue sky. But
luckily it was Crash and Coco’s own ingenuity to the rescue. Still, she couldn’t
take her eyes off the gizmo.
“Hmmmm… you know, with a little bit of tinkering and a LOT of power adjusting,
this thing could come in handy in case Cortex or anyone else sinister tries to
take over the world again. And so Coco rubbed her hands together, put on safety
goggles, and got to work.
A few hours later, and Coco is hard at work on the Planetary Minimizer, or
whatever it was going to turn out to be. She didn’t even notice Tawna walking up
towards her.
“Hey, Coco.” Tawna said. Coco jumped from her work chair, dropping a wrench on
one of her shoes and wincing in pain.
“Ooooooh… Tawna, you really shouldn’t sneak up on me like that.” Coco said.
“Whoops. Sorry, kiddo. You should make sure Crash gets the same memo.” Tawna
said.
“Believe me, my big brother knows.” Coco said.
“Speaking of Crash, where is he?” Tawna asked.
“Oh, I think he’s running around again, smashing anything that’s wooden and
square and hoping there’s Wumpa fruit inside.
“Hahaha! Same ol’ Crash. I seriously wonder what he loves more. Me or Wumpa
fruit.” Tawna said. Coco giggled too and turned around to face the machine
again.
Obviously, Tawna was curious over what Coco was working on.
“So what’s that you’re working on? The world’s biggest toaster oven?” Tawna
said.
“For your information, it is… or WAS… the Planetary Minimizer. Its original
purpose was to shrink, and later enlarge if necessary, an entire planet to the
size of a grapefruit.” Coco said.
“Uh huh… that sounds like something ol’ Neo Cordud would think of.” Tawna said.
Coco smiled.
“Anyway, I’ve been working on vastly reducing the power output of this device.
Soon it will be a run-of-the-mill size-changing ray, and more importantly
require far FAR less crystals than previously required.” Coco said as she walked
towards a pile of purple-colored crystals, placing one inside the machine. Tawna
raised one of her eyebrows.
“Interesting. So you say it works both ways?” Tawna asked.
“Yep! It’s as simple as aiming the machine at the target and pressing either the
grow or shrink button.” Coco said.
“Cool. Any idea what you’re going to use it on?” Tawna asked. Coco paused for a
few seconds to think.
“Well… I was going to test it on a Wumpa fruit, but that’s all. I’d rather save
this machine for when we really need it. Like, I don’t know, some kind of party
game where one of the power-ups is temporarily growing twice their normal size.”
Coco said.
“Doesn’t sound like much fun. It kinda feels like a waste of machinery, if you
ask me.” Tawna said.
“Yeah, well… gotta make sure this doesn’t fall back into Dr. Cortex’s hands. I
mean… imagine if Nina were to get her hands on this thing!” Coco said.
“Yeah, good point. Everything would be a doll to her.” Tawna said.
“Exactly! Anyway… would you excuse me?” Coco said as she walked towards another
pile of things to sort through.
That gave Tawna the chance she needed to take a closer look at the machine.
She admired the look and feel of the large device.
“Gotta hand it to Crash’s little sis. She knows how to redesign something.”
Tawna said as she gently tapped on the crystal connected to the machine. That
was all the machine needed to get fired up.
“Whoops…” Tawna said as she backed away and watched the machine come roaring to
life. She turned around and started to run away, but that’s when the laser fired
away, covering her from head to toe in a red light.
“Ahhhhhhh!!!” Tawna screamed. Coco turned around and saw the machine firing
nonstop at Crash’s girlfriend.
“Oh no! Tawna!” Coco shouted as she ran over and mashed the many buttons on the
device, even trying to pull the crystal out, only to get quite the electric
shock.
“Ow! Arrrrgh! Stupid machine!” Coco said as she kicked the machine at its base.
And just like that, the machine stopped firing and whirred down to a silent
stop. Tawna, meanwhile, collapsed onto her knees with Coco running alongside
her.
“Tawna… are you alright?” Coco asked.
“I don’t know. I feel kinda tingly.” Tawna said as she looked over herself,
seeing she was the same size as usual.
“Hmmmm… that doesn’t feel normal. Let me check what the readout says on the
machine.” Coco said.
As she walked over towards the machine, Tawna suddenly saw a rapid series of
changes undergo her. Her arms and legs seemed to be lengthening, and her chest
was enlarging before her eyes, but luckily so was her magenta-colored shirt.
“Uh… Coco?” Tawna said.
“What is it, Taw… oh!” Coco said as she turned around, watching the female
bandicoot grow bigger and bigger before her eyes. Coco tilted her head back,
watching as Tawna quickly enlarged. She gulped nervously, thinking at first that
if she didn’t temper the power down enough… Tawna was probably going to be the
one whose head would fill the clear blue sky.
But luckily, that didn’t happen. Tawna’s growth spurt suddenly came to a stop,
putting her at 49 and a half meters tall, or roughly 163 feet tall to be exact.
It didn’t matter what the number was… Coco marveled over how big Tawna had
grown, and Tawna was just as much in awe seeing Coco and her machine just inches
away from her sneakered feet.
“Well, I guess your new toy works, Coco!” Tawna finally got out.
“Tawna! What did you do!?” Coco shouted.
“I swear I didn’t do anything! Well, not much! All I did was give the crystal a
shake, and zap! Literally.” Tawna said.
“Sigh… okay, Coco. Deep breaths. You can fix this. You just gotta put the
machine on shrink, and…” Coco said as she approached the control panel of the
machine, only to suddenly be plucked off the ground like a turnip by the giant
Tawna. She dangled Coco in the air, holding the back of her overalls between two
of her fingers. Coco coughed as Tawna exhaled a bit through her nose and the
warm, moist air hit her.
“Ummm… actually, Coco.” Tawna said.
“Actually what?” Coco asked.
“I was kinda hoping you could take your time in fixing this. I LOVE this!” Tawna
said.
“You… you do?” Coco asked.
“Sure! I imagine every girl on this planet dreams of being this big.” Tawna
said.
“Ahem… well, that’s all well and good, Tawna, but I really should get you back
to normal. There’s no telling what the prolonged exposure of that laser has done
inside your body!” Coco said.
“Oh, don’t be silly! I feel fit as a fiddle! In fact…” Tawna said as she looked
out in the distance at the many trees, shielding her eyes from the sun above
with her other hand.
“I bet I can easily find Crash somewhere out there. Like I said, Coco, take your
time in fixing that machine. I’m finally gonna have some big fun!” Tawna said as
she set Coco down on the ground. Coco could only watch as the giantess marched
off, leaving behind massive footprints and booming sounds with each step.
“Tawna, wait!” Coco shouted. But Tawna didn’t respond as she kept walking. Coco
sighed as she watched the giantess fade further into the background.
Meanwhile, a good way away from where Coco was, Crash Bandicoot was indeed
jumping around, smashing wooden boxes and collecting Wumpa fruit.
“Ahhhh… this is good exercise! Maybe now Coco will get off my back on me always
lying around on the beach.” Crash said. Before he could make his next jump over
a small pit, however, the ground shook hard and he lost his footing.
“Whoa!” Crash said as he grabbed onto the ledge to keep from falling in. He
climbed himself up out of the pit, and could feel the ground shaking again,
along with the thundering boom sounds.
“An earthquake? And thunder under the clear blue sky?” Crash asked. Then he
looked around as he heard a deep female voice calling out for him.
“Craaaaaaaaash… where are you?” Tawna shouted.
“Huh? Tawna? Why does she sound so loud all of a sudden?” Crash asked as he
tiptoed around the rocky hill that was obscuring his vision of the outside
world.
That’s when Crash gasped and saw the giant Tawna heading in his direction.
“Whoa! Again!” Crash said as he instinctively ducked beside the hill, hoping the
giant Tawna wouldn’t see him. Fat chance of that happening, of course. When
you’re 163 feet tall, you can see a whole lot of real estate. All Tawna had to
do was look down at that once tall hill and see Crash cowering beside it.
“There you are, Sweetie Bandicoot.” Tawna said. By the time Crash finally looked
up, he saw Tawna’s humongous bare hand coming down for him.
“Ooooof!” Crash said in a muffled tone. He tried to run away, but of course
Tawna wrapped him up in her hand, covering him completely. Tawna lifted her hand
to her face and opened it up, leaving a stunned Crash to look up at her from the
palm of her hand.
“Er… hello, Tawna!” Crash said. Tawna casually swept her hair back with her
other hand.
“My, my. Aren’t you just the cutest thing?” Tawna said, playfully stroking the
top of her boyfriend’s head with a finger from her other hand.
“Errrr… care to tell me how you grew that big?” Crash said.
“Your sister. She was modding something that used to belong to Dr. Neo Cortex.
The Planet Minimizer, I think she called it.” Tawna said.
“Yeah, I remember that. That was one of the doctor’s most advanced pieces of
machinery.” Crash said.
“Well, now it can make things bigger, like of course me. What do you think of
how I look?” Tawna said with a smile.
Crash repeatedly gave the thumbs up symbol to the giantess.
“Oh, um, yes! You look amazing! Ten out of ten! Perfectly beautiful! Flawless!”
Crash said.
“Haha! You’re just saying that so I don’t crush you like a Wumpa fruit. Don’t
worry about that. I know how, shall we say, easily you can lose a life.” Tawna
said.
“Well, I did lose, like, 99 of them trying to rescue you that one time. Thank
goodness for Aku Aku!” Crash shouted. Tawna giggled.
“Mmmmm… I love you, Crash, no matter what size you’re at.” Tawna said as she
slowly brought Crash up to her mouth, which she puckered up like she was going
to give the bandicoot a very big kiss.
Before the two could kiss, however, Tawna turned around when she heard Coco’s
voice down on the ground.
“Tawna! Tawna!” Coco shouted. Tawna rolled her eyes as she looked down at
Crash’s younger and brighter sister.
“Yes, Coco? What is it? We were kinda in the middle of something.” Tawna said.
“Sorry… but this was important! I was going over the data from the machine when
it enlarged you, and well… you need to be shrunken down, like, NOW! Before
something bad happens!” Coco said.
“Like what?” Tawna asked.
“Well, if my calculations are right… in a few more minutes, the energy that
caused you to grow will become very unstable. There could be dangerous side
effects that could, well…” Coco said.
“Come on, Coco! Out with it! What could happen with Tawna?” Crash asked. Coco
took a deep breath and…
“She might explode!” she finally said. Both Tawna and Crash gasped.
“Well, that’s not good. I was hoping I could stay big for much longer…” Tawna
said.
“Well, there is one way of allowing that. You would have to use the power of
your brain to discharge the energy, but in order to discharge the energy,
another living being has to be on the receiving end of it. That would definitely
stabilize the energy and put Tawna at far less risk of explosion.” Coco said.
“Soooooo…” Crash said, still standing in the palm of Tawna’s right hand. Tawna
knew he wasn’t the fastest at deciphering Coco’s tech talk, so she spoke out for
him.
“So I just gotta find someone else to share my growth energy with?” Tawna said.
“Yep! It’ll cause whoever you pass the energy to to grow to your size, but at
least you’ll stay big and won’t explode.” Coco said.
This brought a big smile to Tawna’s face, and after she set Crash atop one of
her shoulders, she reached into one of her shorts pockets and pulled out a cell
phone.
“Huh? What are you doing, Tawna?” Coco asked.
“What else? Calling four friends of mine who’d have just as much as me being
this big.” Tawna said as she pressed a few buttons on the phone.
“But… but… what about me?” Coco asked.
“Pffffft… you’ve got the machine itself! Use that if you want to join my Fee Fi
Fo Fum club!” Tawna said as she finished pressing the buttons.
“Alright, the signal is sent. Now, we wait.” Tawna said with a smile.
Elsewhere around the Wumpa Islands, the former trophy girl known as Ami was
busy lifting dumbbells that she held in both her hands.
“1… 2… 1… 2… 1… 2… yeah! Gotta stay in shape if I’m going to win the next race!”
Ami shouted. Suddenly she heard a rapid series of beeps. She set down the
dumbbells and ran over to the table where the beeping was coming from. It was
from her phone, and it had a message that read:
“NITRO SQUAD, REPORT FOR DUTY! MEET AT N. SANITY BEACH!”
“Oh? I wonder what kind of job Tawna has found for us? I guess I’ll have to
bench press 200 another time!” Ami said as she set the phone down and rushed out
of the gym. She eventually made her way to the garage, where her kart was
waiting. After jumping in, Ami fired up the engine and sped off to N. Sanity
Beach.
At another location, another of the trophy girls, Megumi, was busy with one
of her recreational hobbies… the art of geisha dancing. It wasn’t surprising
that Megumi was the most calm and collected of the Trophy Girls, especially
given her Japanese roots, and geisha dancing always gave her a way to relieve a
day’s worth of stress.
But when she heard her phone suddenly ring off the proverbial hook, she gasped
as her concentration was broken. She hoped it wasn’t a crazed fan calling her
again, but instead she saw the message flash on the screen:
“NITRO SQUAD, REPORT FOR DUTY! MEET AT N. SANITY BEACH!”
“Hai! I am on my way, Tawna!” Megumi said as she set down the umbrella she had
been holding as part of her dance routine. Then she hopped into her kart and
drove away from her home.
Liz was admiring herself in her life size mirror. Even though it was one of
her usual every day outfits, she still saw herself as wearing the top of the
line in fashion. She pretended cameras were flashing left and right as she went
into what felt like a hundred different poses.
“Mmmmm… Ace! Another perfect pose for the cameras. That fashionista of the year
award is gonna be mine for sure!” Liz said to herself. Then she heard her phone
go off, and so she ran towards it, picking it up and seeing the following text
message:
“NITRO SQUAD, REPORT FOR DUTY! MEET AT N. SANITY BEACH!”
“Oh? A case for us? Smashing!” Liz said. Like the other girls, Liz left her
house behind and jumped into her kart, driving away and heading for N. Sanity
Beach.
Finally, there was Isabella. She was the only one to actually be at her kart,
tinkering away at the engine. And it wasn’t a pretty job, either, for she turned
the wrench in her hand a little too hard and bumped her wrist against one of the
cylinders.
“Oooof! Ay caramba! I can see why some people keep screaming kart work is a
guy’s job. Still, while everyone else sleeps or plays around, I’m making this
engine go vroom vroom!” Isabella said. Then she heard the phone beeping. She
dropped the wrench and reached into one of her pants pockets and pulled it out,
where she saw the same message as the other girls:
“NITRO SQUAD, REPORT FOR DUTY! MEET AT N. SANITY BEACH!”
“Okay, Tawna! I hope it’s very very very very important! Cha cha cha!” Isabella
said. After quickly putting her engine back together, she fired up the kart and
drove away.
Later, at N. Sanity Beach, Isabella was the last to pull up to the other
karts, where Liz, Ami, and Megumi had been waiting mostly patiently. Also there
was Coco.
“Took you long enough, Isabella.” Ami said.
“Vamos! I was tuning up my engine for the next race!” Isabella said.
“It’s okay, Isabella. We’re all still waiting for Tawna.” Megumi said.
“Where is our proud pink shirt wearing mate, anyway? She did tell us to meet
here, didn’t she?” Liz said.
“Oh, she’s coming. She just… you know… wanted her appearance to be a surprise.”
Coco said. Just before the four trophy girls could dig into the head of Coco,
however, the sunlight suddenly disappeared as a large shadow loomed over almost
the entire shoreline.
“Whoa! Who turned out the lights suddenly?” Ami asked.
“That’s strange. The weather bird said there’d be no chance of rain today. Leave
it to the same bloody studio with Chick and Stew to fumble the weather report!”
Liz said.
Megumi was the first to look in the opposite direction, and then she gazed
her eyes up, and up, and up some more. That’s when she finally saw Tawna’s
gigantic face and a gigantic body to match it.
“Hello, my little Nitro Squad!” Tawna finally shouted. The Nitro Squad all
jumped and hugged each other in a little bit of fear.
“Holy…!” Ami shouted.
“Kyodai…” Megumi interrupted.
“Tawna! Muy muy grande...!” Isabella said.
“Haha! That’s right! What do you all think?” Tawna said. Crash then stuck his
head out from one of the giantess’s shorts pockets.
“Yeah! What do you all think?” Crash asked.
“Oh! I am impressed! You’re a real giganta!” Isabella said.
“That’s all fine and dandy, like fish and chips, but what we all want to know
is… how!?” Liz shouted.
“You can thank Coco for that, but first… there’s something very important I need
to do.” Tawna said.
“What’s that?” Megumi asked. The giant Tawna smiled.
“What else? Give you all the same power!” Tawna said as she closed her eyes and
held her hands outward.
Just like that, green waves of energy came flying out of Tawna’s hands, like
the energy was being dispersed. Naturally, the energy swirled around the other
four girls before flying into them. At first, nothing happened, but then…
“Oh my! Look at the ground!” Ami said.
“It’s getting smaller?” Isabella asked.
“Oh, this is gonna get good…” Liz said as she watched everything around her
(except the other trophy girls) shrink smaller and smaller. As Tawna watched the
four trophy girls all grow and grow, she could feel a great sense of relief
within her body.
“Whew… I actually feel better already. You were right, Coco!” Tawna said.
“Heh heh… of course. When am I not?” Coco said from ground level. Still, she
gulped nervously watching the other four girls grow. The beach was quickly
running out of real estate with soon-to-be five giantesses occupying the region.
Finally, the growth spurts stopped. Liz, Ami, Megumi, and Isabella were the
exact same size as Tawna now at just over 160 feet tall. Obviously, they looked
down and marveled over how much smaller everything looked.
“*whistles* I’d like to see fashion and beauty experts criticize my looks and
clothes now!” Liz said.
“Oh my… and to think I thought this kind of thing was only a dream.” Megumi
said.
“Like I said, you can thank Coco and one of her inventions. Everybody say ‘thank
you, Coco.’” Tawna said.
“Thank you, Coco!” the other four giantesses shouted.
“Er… you’re welcome!” Coco shouted.
“So now what, Tawna? What are we supposed to do next?” Isabella asked.
“Yeah… go stomping around the tracks pretending we’re those old movie monsters?”
Ami asked. Tawna put a hand against her chin and then snapped her fingers.
“Rule number 1 of being a giantess… always pick on the guy that captured you.”
Tawna said.
“Oh? You mean Dr. Neo Cortex?” Ami asked.
“Ooooooh… he’s such a chico malo!” Isabella shouted.
“I couldn’t agree more. Maybe he should end up a stain under one of our shoes!”
Liz shouted.
“Hahaha! Maybe we don’t have to go that far, but still, let’s go give him a good
scare!” Tawna said.
“I’m in! Lead the way, Tawna!” Ami said. Tawna nodded and walked away from the
beach with the other giantesses following from behind (with Crash still riding
in Tawna’s shorts pocket).
Meanwhile, all the way out at Cortex Castle, Dr. Neo Cortex was using toy
figures and models of the Wumpa Islands to plot his next plan. Watching from
behind while sitting on a chair and filing her nails was Neo’s always annoying
niece, Nina.
“Bwahahaha! This plan is foolproof! I’ll get that Crash for sure once I’ve
executed this strategy! In fact, he may even appreciate the genius of my
design!” Neo said.
“He won’t.” Nina said.
“Sigh… I know. He… no, ALL the Bandicoots can be so ungrateful! It almost makes
me wish Tawna was this small naturally.” Neo said as he held up the Tawna
figurine.
Just then, the castle started to shake rhythmically, almost throwing the two
Cortexes off their feet, as well as thundering boom sounds that were slowly
getting louder and louder. Nina ran over to the nearby window and could easily
see why the castle was doing what it was doing.
“Hahahaha! Your wish came true, but reverse!” Nina shouted.
“Huh? What nonsense are you speaking, child!?” Neo said as Nina backed away
while he approached the window. By the time he looked out the window, all he
could see was an incredibly large green eye.
“There he is!” a familiar sounding female voice shouted. Neo immediately
recognized the voice.
“Tawna!?” Neo shouted. The next thing he knew, he saw a giant bare bandicoot
hand crashing through the wall. He was taken so much by surprise, he didn’t have
time to dodge the hand before it wrapped around him and dragged him outside.
As Dr. Neo Cortex tried to wrestle free of the giant hand’s grip, he got a
good look at not just the giant Tawna, but also four other giantesses he
recognized from the race tracks: Liz, Ami, Megumi, and Isabella. Tawna held the
doctor up to her face.
“Hello, Dr. Cortex. How do you suppose you’re going to kidnap me now?” Tawna
said.
“Er… well… um…” Neo said as he fumbled the words trying to think of what to say.
“Hey, Tawna! What about this little brat here?” Ami asked.
“Hey! Who are you calling a little brat!? I oughta…” Nina said, only to suddenly
get a face full of an angry Liz.
“You oughta what, you evil scamp? Go ahead, punch or kick me in the nose. I dare
you!” Liz shouted as she leaned her face into the broken part of the castle,
almost knocking Nina down to her behind with said nose.
“Ahem… um… I was saying have fun with Uncle Neo while I go downstairs to the
playroom!” Nina said as she quickly scampered out of the room. This was noticed
by Neo.
“Nina, you traitor!! Oooooof!” Neo shouted, only to get squeezed by Tawna’s
hand.
“Now, Dr. Cortex. It’s not nice to be yelling at little girls, even your niece.”
Tawna said.
“So what are we going to do with him, Tawna?” Megumi asked.
“I say we splat him like a booger!” Liz said.
“Smack him around like a pinata!” Isabella shouted.
“Now, now, ladies. We’re so big, it feels like there’s a million things we can
do with him, but let’s start simple. Like… with a game of catch!” Tawna said.
“Sounds fine with me!” Ami said.
The five giantesses spread apart, and Tawna then threw Dr. Neo Cortex over
towards Ami, allowing him to land firmly in her two hands. She wound up like she
was a softball player and next hurled Neo towards Megumi. The process was the
same as Megumi passed to Liz, Liz passed to Isabella, and Isabella back to
Tawna. Along the way, Neo was screaming like a baby losing his rattle toy.
“Waaaaaaaah! No more!” Neo shouted.
“Did you hear that, girls? I think he’s had enough!” Tawna said.
“But I haven’t! Throw him towards me!” Isabella shouted. Ami, who was now
holding onto the doctor, did just that. But instead of catching him with her
hands, Isabella instead did a quick 180 and kicked the doctor up in the air with
one of her shoes.
“Oh!” the other giantesses said with surprise, especially after they saw what
Isabella did next. She was now juggling Neo with her shoes, much like she would
a soccer ball.
“Hahaha! This is like playing football!” Isabella said as she suddenly kicked
Neo towards Megumi, who instinctively did the same juggling act with her own
footwear.
“Hai! You are right, Isabella. This is fun!” Megumi said.
The girls were now kicking Neo Cortex around, once again leaving him shouting
for mercy, although the bruises all over his body were making that a chore to
communicate. After a good kick from Liz, Cortex went flying too high for Tawna,
and he ended up bouncing off her chest covered by her magenta colored shirt.
“Oops! Bouncy bouncy!” Ami said as she ran up and caught Neo Cortex in her
hands.
“Heh, you can say that again.” Tawna said as she lightly brushed her chest. As
for Neo, the ladies looked and saw him heavily dazed and battered, especially in
the teeth department.
“I’m gonna… ugh… get you girls… for this…” Neo said.
“Haha… sure thing, doctor. Feel free to do so when you make it from across the
islands.” Ami said as she wound up her arm.
“No, no!” Neo shouted, only to suddenly get launched in the air as Ami threw the
doctor with maximum velocity.
“Nooooooooooo!!!” Neo screamed until he disappeared into the sky with a flash of
light.
Tawna was the first to give Ami a high five.
“Whew! Nice throw, Ami!” Tawna said.
“Thanks, Tawna! See, ladies? You too can throw like a big leaguer if you work
out like I do.” Ami said.
“You do that. We’ll just stick to our natural likes and dislikes.” Megumi said.
“Despite our shared love for kart racing.” Liz said.
“So now what should we do?” Isabella asked.
“Hmmm… I’ve got an idea, but I have to ask Coco if it’s doable. Let’s head back
everyone.” Tawna said as she and the other giantesses left Cortex Castle behind
and headed back to the beach.
The group made it back where they saw Coco tinkering away at the machine that
made Tawna grow in the first place. Coco saw the giantesses coming and backed
away from the machine.
“Hey there, Coco!” Tawna shouted.
“Oh! You’re all back already?” Coco asked.
“Hai! We hit a home run on Dr. Neo Cortex.” Megumi said.
“I see. Well, don’t mind me. I’m just working on getting the shrinking part of
this machine right. You know, when you all get tired of being that big.” Coco
said.
“Heh… I think that will take a while, little Coco.” Tawna said.
“Tawna’s right. I could grow to like this.” Liz said.
“Hahaha! Liz made a pun!” Isabella shouted.
“Oy… good thing the judges from the beauty and fashion show weren’t here to hear
that!” Liz said.
“But in the meantime, Coco, I want to ask you something. Does that warp pad you
made to Gasmoxia still work?” Tawna said.
“I think so. Why?” Coco asked. Tawna then looked back at her fellow giantesses.
“I think it’s time we made things even with the planet that gave us Nitros
Oxide.” Tawna said.
“Ooooooh… I like the sound of that.” Coco said.
“Me too!” Crash commented from Tawna’s shorts, which prompted a giggle from the
giantess.
“Of course, the question is… is it still functional on Gasmoxia? Hopefully the
natives of that planet haven’t discovered the transwarp portal I secretly
planted somewhere in their city.” Coco said. As she ran off towards her
workshop, the giantesses followed from behind. Some of the girls, like Liz and
Ami, couldn’t help but playfully come within inches of stepping on her with
their shoes.
“Whoa! Tawna, tell them to be careful! I happen to care for my sister’s safety.”
Crash said.
“You heard him, girls. Let’s not give Coco a hard time.” Tawna said.
“As you wish, captain.” Ami said.
Eventually, the group made it to the workshop with a portal generator on the
outside. They waited outside as patiently as they could (though some of the
girls were tapping their shoes on the ground with their arms folded).
“Oy! If this were a pit stop, I’d be pulling my hair out!” Isabella said.
“Don’t do that, mate. At this size, one hair strand could do a ton of damage.”
Liz said.
“Not to mention trip somebody up!” Megumi commented. Finally, Coco came back out
from the workshop.
“Okay. I was able to communicate with the portal on Gasmoxia, but…” Coco said.
“But what?” Tawna asked.
“Getting there is no sweat, but coming back would be a problem given your sizes,
and I’m worried you’d be stuck there. That’s why one of you should carry this.”
Coco said as she held a stick-like device up with her hand. Tawna kneeled down
and carefully plucked the stick off Coco’s hand.
“That’s an emergency recall switch. Push it while you’re all holding onto each
other to quickly transport back here.” Coco said. Tawna nodded, recognizing the
importance of that device.
“Here, Crash, baby. You better hold onto this.” Tawna said.
“Got it! I shall protect this gizmo with all my heart… the heart I share for
you.” Crash said.
“Awwww… he’s so sweet. I wish I had a boyfriend like that.” Megumi said.
“I don’t know… what’s to say you can’t swipe him while Tawna is not looking?”
Liz asked.
“I dare you to try that, sister.” Tawna said.
“Oooof… terribly sorry for thinking out loud.” Liz said.
“Alright! I’m gonna activate the portal. Merely touch it with a finger and
you’ll be whisked away to Gasmoxia. Give them heck for me!” Coco said.
“Will do!” all the girls shouted. Coco activated the portal, and indeed, the
girls one by one touched the portal with their finger… and they and everything
attached to them disappeared in flashes of light.
On the distant planet of Gasmoxia, the alien residents of this world were
going about their normal business, which was mostly cheering for the better fast
food restaurant… Nuclear Pizza or Toxic Burger. At times it devolved into an old
fashioned cafeteria food fight with aliens slinging pizza, burgers, or their
associated toppings at each other.
That fighting would come to a screeching halt as they watched five huge beams of
light suddenly come shooting out from a nearby alleyway. The lights gradually
took humanoid shapes until the light dissipated, revealing the five giantesses
(Tawna, Liz, Ami, Megumi, and Isabella).
“Hahaha! Greetings, puny patrons of Gasmoxia. I, Titanic Tawna, and my friends,
the Trophy Titanesses, are the biggest racers in the galaxy. But today, we
travel the stars looking for creatures to smush beneath our shoes. Think of this
as a game of survival of the fastest, as in how fast you can get away before we
crush you flat!” Tawna proudly shouted. After some blank stares, the aliens
finally scrambled away screaming their heads off.
“Heh… think maybe you scared them a bit too much?” Liz asked.
“Nah. That went as well as I predicted.” Tawna said.
“So are we gonna just stand around here all day like mindless statues or go Fee
Fi Fo Fum on this world!?” Ami said.
“You heard Ami, everyone. Spread out and get crushing!” Tawna said as the five
giantesses went their separate ways.
Tawna took great delight in smashing buildings, hovering vehicles, and aliens
left and right. It was a classic case of the giantess showing off her tremendous
power. Some aliens were willing to fight back, though, as evidenced by Tawna
feeling a few laser blasts bounce off her behind. She looked back and saw the
saucers coming towards her.
“Ooooooh… you know, on my home planet, it’s VERY rude to shoot a lady in the
butt!” Tawna shouted. As the saucers tried to veer away from the giantess, Tawna
formed a fist with her right hand and took a good swing at them. One of the
saucers was directly hit and destroyed in mid-air, while the other was thrown
out of balance by the gust of wind from the giantess’s punch, and despite the
saucer’s best efforts, it finally lost control and crashed into the ground,
leaving behind a fiery crater with its leftovers.
As Tawna brushed her fist of saucer debris, Crash cheered her on from her shorts
pocket.
“Yahoo, Tawna! You grow… er… go, girl!” Crash said.
“Mmmmm… thanks, sweetie.” Tawna said. She then got blasted again, this time in
the back, causing her to lean forward. In doing so, and because he was sticking
out a little too far out of her pocket, Crash went flying out. He quickly
clutched onto the bottom of her shorts while she looked back frustratingly at
the two extra saucers.
“Okay, now you’re making me mad!” Tawna shouted. This time, the giantess picked
up a smaller building with both her hands and hurled it like a vegetable towards
the saucers. There was no dodging that big an obstacle and they got destroyed on
impact, while the building itself landed over a city block, crushing everything
(mostly innocent aliens) underneath it.
Tawna looked down and saw Crash wasn’t inside her pocket.
“Crash? Crash!?” Tawna shouted.
“Down here!” Crash shouted. Tawna breathed a sigh of relief and held a hand
underneath Crash, allowing him to drop safely down.
“Whew… you gotta be more careful, Crash.” Tawna said.
“Aren’t I always?” Crash asked with a smile on his face.
“Yeah, I better not answer that.” Tawna said as she safely stuck Crash back into
her shorts pocket. The giantess got back to stomping around in whatever random
direction she thought of, making sure to crush any aliens that stood in her
path.
“Interesting the way these aliens get crushed.” Tawna commented, noting how they
were flattening like pancakes instead of something much more ugly looking, such
as a pile of bones and blood.
It was the same story for the gigantic Trophy Girls that joined Tawna on her
journey to Gasmoxia. Liz was in a more populated area of the city, plus her
block had taller buildings, some of them reaching up to her chest. And, being
the one who liked to show off her beauty, she couldn’t resist peeking inside
some of these buildings and asking the occupants for an opinion on her looks.
“Well, what do you alien blokes think about the way I look?” Liz said as she
blinked her eyes a few times, brushing the side of the building with her
eyelashes.
“Mmmmm… thanks so much for admiring the view. I looooooove the attention!” Liz
said as she stood back up and twirled around, showing off her gigantic body and
clothes.
“So what score do you give it?” Liz asked. She could hear the aliens uttering a
bunch of gibberish, making her roll her eyes that they didn’t speak English like
Nitros Oxide did. Still, that meant she could have a little destructive fun.
“A one!? Ugh… you bunch of barmy arses! You really know how to cheese a girl
off, don’t you!?” Liz said, and that’s when she wound up one of her arms and
flat out punched the building. The force of the punch was so strong, it made the
building topple over, taking everyone inside with it. Liz didn’t stop there. She
stomped all over the building until it was nothing more than a mangled mess.
“Hmph! That’ll teach them some manners.” Liz said as she walked away from the
carnage and tormented another part of the city.
Ami and Megumi were sticking together as they rampaged through their part of
the city. They would take turns being the lead stomper. A few seconds it would
be Ami, and then a few seconds later it would be Megumi.
“Hmmmm… this is fun, stepping on these aliens one by one.” Megumi said.
“I can’t believe what I’m hearing. The peaceful, non-violent Megumi getting a
kick out of taking alien life.” Ami said.
“Well… it’s because we’re not on our home planet!” Megumi said.
“Haha… good point. Oh! I’ve got an idea. Pick up a few of these creatures.” Ami
said. Megumi nodded and scooped up as many aliens as her giant hands would hold.
“Now what?” Megumi asked. Ami was light on her feet as she hopped up and down
and put up her dukes like she was a boxer.
“Target practice!” Ami said. Megumi shrugged her shoulders and, one by one,
threw the aliens towards Ami, who gladly punched them and sent them flying into
the distance (and screaming like little girls). Sometimes Ami would kick the
aliens with her shoes using fancy footwork.
Eventually, though, Megumi ran out of aliens to throw at her fellow giantess.
“I’m afraid I have run out. Gomenasai.” Megumi said.
“Awwww… don’t sweat it. I’m sweating up a storm anyway!” Ami said. She reached
down and ripped a canopy off one of the buildings, using it as a towel to wipe
off her sweaty face and even chest. After tossing aside the ‘towel,’ Ami looked
down at the ground at some of the aliens running around Megumi’s shoes.
“Hey, how about we dance? All galaxies love dancing!” Ami said.
“Hai! But… what kind of dance?” Megumi said, only to suddenly have her hand
grabbed by Ami.
“Just follow my lead.” Ami said as the two went into a medium-paced simple dance
of moving their feet around. As you can well imagine, smaller buildings got
demolished as they bulldozed over them with their feet. They didn’t always cause
destruction with their shoes, though… at times they would dance in place,
twirling their hips around in almost a synchronous manner.
While all that was going on, Isabella was doing her own rampaging.
“Heehee… I hope you’re enjoying this giant muchacha stepping all over your puny
city!” Isabella said, emphasizing her added power as she raised a leg high and
slammed her shoe down, crushing a row of buildings. She made sure to cause just
as much turmoil with her next few steps. Like with Liz, Isabella was having to
deal with saucers shooting at her trying to literally bring her down. And she
didn’t appreciate getting shot in the hair either.
“Oooooh! Do you idiotas know how long it took me to get this hair right!?”
Isabella said as she walked towards the saucers and tried to swat them out of
the sky like flies. Some were able to dodge the swipes, but other saucers were
not so lucky.
“Hmmm… perfect execution.” Isabella said as she enjoyed seeing the saucers she
did swat explode on the slightest touch.
With the saucers not bothering her as much as a few moments ago, Isabella got
back to wandering around, but then something compelled her to start dancing in a
salsa-type manner. As she danced around the city, she eventually saw a building
that reached up to chest level. She approached this structure and then turned
around, placing her behind as close as she could to the windows. Then she
bounced that behind up and down. Yep, you guessed it. She was twerking.
“Hahaha! I bet you cute little aliens would like to ride this thing! Well, too
bad, you’re not tall enough!” Isabella said as she quickly backed up and plowed
her behind into the building, leaving a gaping hole in it. Some aliens were
clinging onto Isabella’s behind, but a quick shake made sure they all fell to a
rough landing on the street.
Isabella then looked to the side and blushed. The act she committed was not
without some literally big witnesses, as the other giantesses were fast
approaching her.
“My my my, Isabella. I didn’t realize you had that side in you.” Tawna said with
a smirk.
“I… I couldn’t help it! The power surging through my giant body… it’s making me
do things I usually don’t do!” Isabella said.
“You’re preaching to the choir, sister! We’re terrorizing an alien planet with
our grown selves… that all by itself is something we don’t usually do!” Ami
said.
“But at least it’s fun!” Megumi said.
“Naturally because we’re doing it on another planet.” Liz said. Tawna looked
over at what was left of the building after Isabella’s twerking show.
“Shall we finish the job?” Tawna said.
“Good idea, but how?” Ami asked.
“How else but with a group hug?” Tawna asked.
“Ah, of course!” Megumi said. The giantesses walked around until they surrounded
the poor building. Tawna then spread her arms apart.
“Group hug!” Tawna shouted as all five girls hugged each other, smushing the
building into many pieces as they embraced each other. They looked down at all
the damage they caused.
“All I can say is… ace!” Liz shouted.
“I couldn’t agree more, Liz!” Tawna said. The girls then walked away from the
wreckage.
After a few more minutes of rampaging around, the girls looked around to see
more than half the city was in ruins, including the two major fast food
restaurants. Though, after they wrecked those places, the girls waved their
hands in front of their noses.
“P.U.! When they say toxic, they really mean it!” Liz shouted.
“I legit wonder how these creatures get by on such distasteful food.” Ami said.
“Hey! How dare you ladies come to my planet and lay such waste!?” an alienish
voice shouted from above. The girls looked up and saw Nitros Oxide arriving on
the scene, flying in his own saucer.
“Nitros Oxide.” Tawna said.
“I don’t know how you grew to such gargantuan proportions, but you shall
nonetheless pay for destroying this city! Emperor Velo XXVII will not stand for
this behavior!” Nitros Oxide shouted. The giantesses looked at each other and
giggled.
“Oh? And what are you going to do about it? Send a billion spaceships after us?”
Isabella asked. Nitros Oxide smiled.
“As a matter of fact… yes.” Nitros Oxide said. Suddenly, decloaking behind the
villain were a series of saucers and battleships. The giantesses gulped
nervously and then looked over at Isabella.
“Oy… me and my big boca.” Isabella said.
“Open fire!” Nitros Oxide shouted. A steady stream of lasers rained down on the
city, clipping the giantesses left and right. The lasers didn’t hurt them as big
as they were, but they sure were annoying. This was when Tawna realized it was
time to leave.
“Crash! Get us out of here!” Tawna said.
“Roger, captain! Everyone hold onto each other!” Crash shouted as he got the
reset button he had been carrying around ready. Once he saw the giantesses were
huddled around each other, Crash pressed the button, and everyone faded away in
various patterns of static electricity. Nitros Oxide slammed the front of his
saucer panel before he and the emperor’s army retreated.
Coco paced around nervously, hoping Tawna and the others would return safe
and sound. Suddenly, she heard some crackling coming from her portal generator.
She watched the electricity gather together, until finally it formed into Tawna
and the Trophy Girls. On one hand, she was super relieved to see them return,
but something was different about them…
“Oh, you all made it back! But…” Coco said. Tawna and the other girls were just
as confused at first. Coco looked the same size as they were.
“Oh? Coco? Did you decide to grow too?” Tawna asked.
“Um… no. You’re all back to your normal size!” Coco shouted. The five girls
looked down and indeed saw they were back to their normal heights, judging by
how the ground was a lot closer.
“By jove, you’re right!” Liz said.
“But how? We didn’t get zapped by some shrinky ray.” Isabella said.
“Hmmm… perhaps because of the emergency recall teleportation, it caused your
molecules to reset to their normal proportions. Of course, I’m just speculating.
I’ll have to go back and look at the data. Either way, it’s nice you’re all back
to normal!” Coco said.
“Yeah, I kinda have to agree. There’s only so much we can do for so long while
we’re gigantic, you have to admit.” Ami said. The other girls suddenly nodded at
each other.
“Still, maybe we can do it again one day!” Megumi excitedly shouted.
Coco then realized someone important was missing.
“Hey, wait! Where’s Crash?” Coco said. The other girls frantically looked around
wondering where the heroic bandicoot was.
“Hey, sweetie! Did we make it?” Crash shouted. Tawna looked down at her shorts,
and that’s where she saw a now shrunken Crash Bandicoot, still riding in her
shorts.
“Oops.” Tawna said. Crash, meanwhile, looked over and saw his now ‘gigantic’
sister.
“Whoa! Coco? Since when did you grow big?” Crash asked.
“Ummmm… we’re not big, Crash. You’re the one that’s gotten smaller.” Coco said.
Crash looked down at the ground from Tawna’s shorts and realized what had
happened.
“Wah! Not again!” Crash said.
“Hey! Look on the bright side, at least you’re not the size of a flea like we
all were that one time.” Liz said.
“Don’t worry, big brother! One quick zap and you’ll be back to normal size.”
Coco said.
A few minutes later, shrunken Crash was standing on the sand while waiting
for Coco to get her machine working again.
“Okay. Commencing growth ray in 3… 2…” Coco said. However, before she could
count down to one, the machine suddenly shot a series of sparks and shut down.
“Coco! What happened!?” Tawna shouted. Coco pressed a series of buttons, but
there was no response. Finally, Coco opened one of the panels, and a plume of
smoke along with the smell of burnt electronics told her the answer.
“Oh, fudge! Looks like a fuse blew.” Coco said.
“You can fix it, right?” Crash said, watching as Coco approached him.
“Yes, of course, but… it’ll take a week to have a fuse shipped to here. So I’m
afraid…” Coco said.
“...I’m stuck like this, right?” Crash said as he folded his arms.
“Yep.” Coco said simply. Crash flapped his gums, finding it hard to imagine
living life at the size he was at.
But suddenly, Tawna came walking up to him, almost covering him in sand as
she kicked some of it with her shoes.
“Oh, I don’t think it’ll be so bad, Crash. I wouldn’t mind protecting you like a
kid’s favorite toy.” Tawna said as she picked up her shrunken boyfriend and
snuggled him against her chest. Even with the magenta fabric of her shirt, Crash
never felt more comfortable in his life.
“Yeah… you’re right. This suddenly doesn’t feel so bad.” Crash said in an almost
dazed tone. The other girls, including Crash’s sister, Coco, couldn’t help but
chuckle.
